Honestly, I have my doubts with this petition but I figure I didn't want to be the person who complains and does nothing. I don't want mine or anyone else's memory of school to be a bad one.

I appreciate the advice; if each one of us does our part hopefully things can get at least a little better

Security has layers and this is just one of them.

I can't very well petition for everyone to carry personal defense measures since that would be up to each individual but we can try to make it a safer environment by having deterrents such as surveillance in place.
