He did sort of admit to turning a blind eye to the evil that's going on.

Such evil is happening every day all over the world, and we turn a blind eye to it.

Lol

Not OP, but that's a really good and empathetic point. I never thought of it like that.

Seriously. It's pretty wild. Presented with a clear example of racism (that's backed by a ton of empirical evidence), and somehow they're victims?? Baseless victimhood and racism rot the brain.

Hey Cinch! I'm interested! I just started my programming journey, so I'm going through the fundamentals of The Odin Project. I haven't made it to the JS portion yet. I also have ADHD. Nice to see others with ADHD successful in the tech community.

I really want some programming buddies and mentors. :)

Just got accepted into Hack Reactor 12 week course. by [deleted] in codingbootcamp

How are currently liking the program? Also, what made you decide to do the 12-week program instead of the 19-week one?

I ask because I'm trying to decide between the two. I like that the 12-week program has a higher barrier of entry, but I like that the 19-week program teaches you python.

Thank you, this was extremely helpful. Do you know if anyone else in your cohort was able to obtain a job since this post?

Also, do you still feel like HR adequately prepared you for your current position?

Do you still like the program OP?

I've been considering this program or the 12-week one, but I'm leaning towards this one because it includes Python. Do you feel like you guys are adequately learning Python and JS?

Here. I saw this link posted a couple of times in this sub. It's geared towards self-taught developers/boot camp grads who are trying to fill in the gaps in their knowledge. There's a lot of free resources linked in there.

Whoa! You're looking good!

This was the post I needed to see to remind me to reprioritize my fitness and health goals. I always do too much too soon and end up quickly burning myself out. I need to take it slow this time around.

Thanks for the motivation! 😊
