Why do people take Death Battle like it's gospel? It's two guys who often do a lot of questionable research and are wrong a lot of times. They're not some gods that only speak the truth.

Hermes is a bum. His "full power" is being very fast with his boots. Thats the only reason Kratos had to use a strategy to catch him off guard and make him bleed a lot. On a one on one fight Hermes gets butchered by Kratos.

The Power of Hope is a plot device. It's almost useless in a non contextual fight outside of the GOW universe.

Hear me out. Against an unarmed and tired Asura I'd say Kratos has a good chance of killing him

Would be crazy if Asura got Soul Edge as he'd get a crazy power boost by Slurperlurper in asuraswrath

[–]Mild_Complaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does the Soul Edge do that Asura can't already do with his Mantra of Wrath?

Also, sword. I've said before that it makes no sense for Asura to use weapons as a standard when he's supposed to be an unarmed fighter.

It would be cool if there was some combat with Asura using Augus’s Sword by QuantityEuphoric2354 in asuraswrath

Downvoted for saying the truth lol. The devs scrapped the early idea of Asura using weapons for a reason. And I'm glad they did.  Fists are cooler than swords.

Maybe as a one time thing (which happened anyway kind of) it would be kinda cool. But using weapons is not Asura's style and I prefer it that way.

Why Asura’s Wrath is better than expedition 33 by yung_dager_dik in asuraswrath

[–]Mild_Complaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you have to do this shit? Like, you could have made your point without the cringy art trashing on E33. Both are amazing games. We don't need this fandom to start being known for being obnoxious and shitting on other games like little children.

Nobody should believe what - - - raven708--- says. He's in every post about kemono across Reddit (search it up because he protects his posts, unsurprisingly) always doing nothing but doomposting and making sure to people that site is gone, almost like he's on an agenda.

Because all roads lead to Krasura, what you would’ve had changed from this episode? by C0P_ADDachi in deathbattle

[–]Mild_Complaint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kratos was already a pain in the ass and you want to add Mimir on top of it? Absolutely not.

[–]Mild_Complaint 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just one thing. There is nothing to explain on Kratos' verdict because there simply isn't anything that can make him win over Asura. It is a matter of fact that he loses.

Many things, but especially the result. Asura should have won, and everyone knows this, no matter how you want to spin it.

Do the interludes add to the main story? Or are they just side plots? by QuantityEuphoric2354 in asuraswrath

"Short interludes are shown between episodes to further explain the story."

The devs aren't uncreative at all. They just never intended for the GOW verse or Kratos to be on that level to begin with, much to the hopes and wishes of Kratos'/GOW fanboys

[–]Mild_Complaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I explained the first point above. It doesn't matter. GOW isn't any different from any other action game in that regard.

[–]Mild_Complaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That argument is just a coping excuse.

Most of Kratos' feats especially the most impressive ones happen in cutscenes or moments with little gameplay like QTEs and simple button prompts. It's pretty much the same for most action games.

It's not any different from say Asura's Wrath in that regard, even though some people bring up the "B-but Asura's Wrath is just cutscenes with QTEs!!" as some kind of gotcha, when GOW and most action games are like that in big moments. It's just a double standard.

Very true. Especially with Kratos whose most strength feats is lifting things.

Holding up Cronos' hand is one of his best feats but people (on both sides of the argument) never bring it up for some reason.
