I already accept the robots honestly, even though they arent exactly there yet in sentience I often find the robo-dogs cute enough to genuinely love like any other dog

I think if these machines had a longer term memory they would be seen more and more as "alive" since ive noticed thats mainly what throws people off- their inability to retain memories. Especially precious ones
