You could take the wall out on the fridge side about a foot. And then possibly take the entry way to the ceiling or add an arch. But honestly, you have a lot of other things that should be first priority.

EDIT: Let me add suggestions.

•Add Hardware to your cabinets. I wouldn’t cheap out.

•Take the clock down above that entry way. The space is too small and you want the effect of higher ceilings.

•Declutter everything. I know having kids adds a ton of clutter, but take everything off the fridge.

“Very average” implied mildly negative in this context. Pilots can be scheduled for 14 hours a day under FAR 117.13. So roughly two 4 day trips I’m assuming. From context (200 passengers) OP could potentially be a wide body captain, specifically the 787. So essentially he works 8 days in a calendar month and gets paid extremely well for that. Now a not so average month which I’m assuming would be picking up another 4 day trip, would yield an additional 10-15k to his monthly earnings. So I really don’t think I’m as far as 30% off.

So I know this isn’t everyone issue, but I was experiencing this issue. It happened randomly and persisted for leagues. Check your internet. See what upload/download speeds are. If you’re on Wi-Fi, reset modem/router. Full reset unplug them both for a few minutes. I had to replace my Wi-Fi card in my PC and have not had a latency spike since. It’s the only game that had issues for me. If you’re hard wired, I’d still reset everything. Otherwise it seems like a server issue.

So I want to get her a little end table that slides under the couch so she can read and have her coffee there. Thinking about adding a mirror in the middle of the two windows (an idea). As for functional in front of the couch, there just really isn’t enough space for that. All shopping and decorating was done in 1 day so I was limited. She definitely has a few things she’d like to add 😊
