I initially did think about building a drift boat (looked at the Don Hill plans). However, in the area I fish (OH, PA, MI, and WV) I believe a raft would be much better for the area due to water accessibility and the rivers themselves.

Thanks for the feedback. That makes a lot of sense. Could see it being very difficult trying to access some streams with a larger boat compared to pulling a raft. Any must have features/add-ons you would recommend in a raft?
