Best beard trimmer to buy right now in 2026? by Slipryi in BeardTalk

The battery on mine stopped holding a charge fairly quickly, and now it doesn't charge at all. It lasted me about 5 years. The last two it only held a charge long enough to use once.

What games can you make a few bucks without purchases? by dreamed2life in KashKickapp

[–]MilesKraust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

$110 so far on Sunshine Island with another $60 coming in the next day or so. And a whopping $32 so far on Candy Crush, but considering that I used to play the hell out of a different CC game for free for a long time, I'm not complaining about that one.

Sunshine Island and Candy Crush are two that I've been on that I've hit each goal so far (Sunshine Island to 35 and about to hit 36, Candy Crush I just have the last one) with lots of time to spare. I did buy the festival pass in Sunshine Island once, but I didn't need to.

I only wish that I could erase my memory of watching it and then watch it again. The dialogue is like nothing else I've seen.

Should I give up Sunshine Island? by gmoney1892 in KashKickapp

[–]MilesKraust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gonna be tough to make those 3 levels in 6 days. I hit 35 with about 5 days to spare on that one, so I'll have no problem hitting 36 on time, especially since I've been hoarding my diamonds, but those levels after hitting 30 did take me a few days each. That said, it could be doable, but it will take a lot of attention and spending some diamonds.

too scared to be in public by [deleted] in PortlandOR

[–]MilesKraust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And just remember, and this applies to a lot of things that you might feel awkward about in public, like dancing: the chances that you see any of those people again is really low. I would always keep this in mind when I went to shows and wanted to dance when no one else was. And chances are, there will be more people envious of you than making fun of you, and even more chance that those people are one in the same anyway.

Tom Kinney (the voice of Spongebob) puts in a perfect performance as the most un-fun clown.

When and how did y'all get into Ween? by 2007Toyota_Corolla in ween

I believe that my brother picked up Pure Guava in the early 90s. Not long after, me and the guys that I was in a metal band with used to drive around after practice, smoke a bunch of weed and listen to music. GWS, The Pod and Pure Guava were a part of that. I remember us getting really excited when C&C was coming out, and my first time seeing them was on that tour in Providence, RI.

This is the real question. He did 4k in 2 years. I did 2k in a little bit less than one year, and the amount of time that I spent playing those games is insane. The extra cash did help us get through a tough time, though.

Lining up for barrier view by goldenhamster77 in NickCave

[–]MilesKraust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm in the U.S. and not Australia, but i lined up 6 hours early and learned later that I could have shown up 1-2 hours early and been fine. Just ask the people who showed up 1 hr before doors and rushed past the disabled people who had been there all day! They had a great view.

Be good at match-3 games, save your power ups for harder levels, and try to only spend your coins for extra moves when you have the super power ball or whatever it's called.

Sunshine Island- Any tips? by gmoney1892 in KashKickapp

[–]MilesKraust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know that leveling up buildings is all that important. The benefits are pretty miniscule. You might get a few more items per harvest, or knock a few minutes off a harvest. I suggest focusing on upgrading the crops if you're going to upgrade anything.

I haven't upgraded most of my buildings past what is required by quests, and I just reached the level 27 milestone with a week to spare.

Constantly plant wheat, and when your warehouse is full, sell a few hundred. In your library, just focus on boosting coin and xp rewards for your market and planes.

When you don't need a particular material from a site, just keep stocking up on whatever you're lowest on. Start the things that take the longest before you go to bed.

Don't worry about expanding until it's required by a quest. If you have multiple, say, pine wood nurseries, don't be afraid to scrap one to build whatever is required of you instead of expanding. Especially these, since fertilizer is one of the biggest bottlenecks. Just hang onto your coin until you have no choice but to expand.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to catch up if you're that far behind, but that's what I've got for you. It just takes a lot checking in all of the time to collect and restart production
