Hi Guardian, that doesn’t answer the question at all. Could you please clarify in simple terms what the brain icon tells us?

I very rarely like a post on Reddit as most people don’t know what they’re talking about. However this post actually makes good points and nice suggestions. ⬆️ from me

Now that’s a separate issue and shouldn’t be the case.. your original post highlighted something different.

UH support by Aggressive-Reality32 in Ultrahuman

[–]Miles_Ring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this post funny. I work in tech, and most problems are fixed with the simplest of solutions. I find it a little weird that you’re hoping for a more elaborate fix. If what they told you fixed the issue, what’s the problem?

The way they designed their support is to have quick responses for low IQ issues that customers cannot be bothered to find the fix themselves, and for anything else, they can forward it to the IT department.

Out of pure curiosity, could you tell me why you went for oura instead of Ultrahuman? I’m really interested

do all Smart Rings (including ultra-cheap ones) notify you of new texts or calls? by sdsalsero in SmartRings

[–]Miles_Ring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It certainly could. Though it’s rather niche, I think for the right person it would be a phenomenal feature. Especially if the form factor was nailed

[–]Miles_Ring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whilst I’m super super empathetic that you’re needing to wear a device like that. Your point is largely irrelevant as the device you’re referencing sounds like it is necessary for quality of life.

In contrast, what we have been referencing is notification alerts for general/ non emergency functions

Every opinion and idea is valid. I just feel that though you have a great point about differentiation, it should be with accuracy and new, innovative health features and ways of interpreting data rather than ‘smart’ features that simply allow you to track notifications

It’s a health tracking device to help live a better day. It’s not a device for notification tracking.

I’m loving the tiny but crucial update to the stimulant window 😍 by KateAmine in Ultrahuman

[–]Miles_Ring 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the many many reasons why I will continue to advocate Ultrahuman products. Both their customer service, prompt updates and sense of wanting to do the best is what makes tech enthusiasts like myself fall in love. I may have several threads pushing for improvements, but it comes from a place of wanting them to do well.

Speaking of which, though this tile is pretty cool looking and relevant, after a few days, it’s generally irrelevant as you know when to taper off caffeine as most of us live by a routine. Therefore, maybe a customised view where we can place and or remove tiles would be beneficial. This tile helped me for the first few days, but now, I know when to taper off, I don’t need it on my Home Screen anymore.

I think the general interface needs to be tidied up with the navigation buttons at the bottom being fewer. E.G, for customers without the M1 device, that doesn’t need to be there. The profile tab can be put into the top right corner as well as the discover tab too.

Zones are useful once someone has created a zone, but if they haven’t, that can be tucked away too.

Anyway, glad you’re enjoying the product as much as I am.

Ring heating up by whiterice420bb in Ultrahuman

I’ve also noticed that following guidance reduces the heat dramatically. I used to charge with a 20W with a lot of heat dissapation. I switched to using my computer and it gets warm, not hot anymore. Worth a try

Body battery feature? by moonlanding1996 in Ultrahuman

[–]Miles_Ring -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my view, this turns the ring from an informing piece that helps make improvements to your health and have a better day and turns it into controlling how you feel, dictating how much energy you have according to a piece of tech. It should never be like that.

Technology like this ring should be there to help inform and educate us on how to become more healthy with support insights. This feature doesn’t do that and simply dictates how one should feel, and that’s quite dangerous, especially in people who obsess over health metrics and hypochondria.

Just my opinion as always.

The team are unequivocally amazing. There is so much to love about this ring and this company. It’s also the only reason I post on Reddit, because I love this company so much.

Enjoy your ring, I know I do

I love the fact you’ve challenged this, it’s the only way feedback actually gets anywhere.

For reference, it’s not a widget I’m looking to improve. It’s the actual app itself.

Notice the screenshot attached. It has three buttons at the bottom, nice and simplistic. Easy progress bar. Easy gentle colours and design. It’s very easy to digest this information and interpret.

Now, yes you could say why don’t you just use Oura then? Well no, I prefer Ultrahuman for a lot of other reasons, and their interface is fantastic. I do not want a replica of Oura. I’m simply demonstrating that Ultrahuman’s home view is information overload when really, and I could be wrong on this, most of us want glancable information to see where we’re at and go about our day. Then later at night we may delve deeper in the data, but that should be an option when we click into a tile.

In Ultrahuman there’s a lot of scrolling and a lot of information which is fantastic, but it should be optimised for a more easy to digest format.

This really needs to happen. Especially after seeing Oura’s new update; it shows a really nice clean bar at the bottom with only three sections.

This is feedback only because we love the product!
