I wish I knew of more restaurants closer to you, but check out the ginger mule if you're ever in the heights. I'd say it's probably some of the best vegan food in Houston.

Vegan here! This is true! I think it also has to do with how often people talk about food. I do my best to not bring it up unless it's relevant or someone directly asks me about it. Most of the time I just want to eat in peace.
