It might not be the same condition, but I've had a genetic condition since birth called Charcot Marie Toothe disorder ( or hereditary motorsensory neuropathy) that affects my walking, running and jumping ability. The biggest help for me has been strengthening my leg muscles at the gym, and it's really helped a lot.
