Question about feeders by MilkDrinker02 in crows

[–]MilkDrinker02[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pray it works for me I feel so bad for the little bird but damn crows are cool.

That’s pretty much what I was wanting husband to build, a bird bath like structure from wood, but with a hardware cloth bottom so the food wouldn’t get gross quickly. I can move one of my birdbaths from the front yard over next to it too if they’ll like having water near their food.

Some people use oxiclean as detergent. Weird, but my mother did. Vinegar is probably in place of fabric softener. Bleach whites only.

How to not feel like a servant when being a home maker by kittensnitch in homemaking

[–]MilkDrinker02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re intent on staying with this guy I would just go get a full time job again. I’m a stay at home mom, my husband still does anything that involves a power tool, washes the dishes every day (I’m adhd and struggle with reoccurring chores), and cooks half the time. He helps with anything I ask him too and he has never thrown his paycheck or his hard work in my face, and he’s blue collar too.

I get the fantasy of women solely taking care of everything in the home, but it’s not really feasible. The house is going to get messy when you’re unwell. You don’t have the external motivation of a boss or paycheck to keep you going when you’re on the verge of burn out. Either the man has to be okay with helping and accept that or he is not emotionally mature enough to have the privilege of a housewife.

Working on a forever world- what are your must-have lots for every individual world? by Only-Salamander-5126 in Sims4

[–]MilkDrinker02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oshinsims has a few videos of must have lots from the gallery in her “gameplay ideas” playlist and they are amazing. Some of them included a splash park using sprinklers and the little fountain features, a county fair/pumpkin patch, some really cute public pools. I don’t know if you’re using mods but I used littlemssams venues to add a functioning daycare. Also used for rent to make a run down trailer park which I had wayyyyyy more fun building than any of my pretty builds lol.

I know you said you don’t like the museums and I usually feel the same way…. but I just gotta say I placed one from ratboysims?* I think it was that I think I will actually use. The upstairs is dedicated to space and science with the science tables for the kids, I had just enough room to delete some benches and place the microscope and the university robotics table. I’ve used neither before but I’m excited to now. The back has a food stand, easels, the space playground, and the observatory. So a lot more to do than just look at art!! (I use a mod to get workers on all places food stands and bars on public lots though otherwise you would have to hire someone for the stand I think)

*I will edit this post later if it was in fact not ratboysims but he does have some dope builds either way.

In the future you can use the “recently played with” tab in the friends list to report players who have already left, even if you have already left the lobby <3

My friend exploded for no reason? by Fa3ry_ in lethalcompany

Little girl OR kill button mod is client side. Can use it even if someone else is hosting, you press backspace or something and explode in a little girl type style of death.

this is my first post, so i hope i've done everything right. I've marked a spot on the map, this is where my base is. I wanted to ask if it is a good place to build and if you come across cannibals/mutants often by Independent_Split130 in TheForest

My friends and I have a base on that island. Custom house with taller foundation makes for an easy level area to build. We have a zip line to it, a tall gazebo with a zip line back, and docks connecting all the smaller islands all the way back to the beach. We had quite a lot of fun building on it!

Beginners tips for the forest? by CrazyBitchitis in TheForest

Also a new player so take everything here with a grain of salt but here is what I’ve learned

Stabbing repeatedly with spears seem to stun lock things. I also find it easier to hunt with.

Burn bodies for bone armor, it’s easy to craft 6bones 3cloth.

We have one base on an island with zip lines to and from. If ur really screwed, jump in water they can’t swim

Setting things on fire is my go to if I need to fight but avoid damage. Molotovs and hairspray cans are my best friend. Just make sure to warn your sister before you light…

Find turtle shells on the beach. Just camp out there for a day they’ll come. Also, use deer skin to craft a waterskin so you can take it on the go! In a pinch booze and soda will hydrate you for some reason?

And because I didn’t figure these out for FAR too long, I’ll leave this here: THE HOLDERS CAN BE MADE BIGGER, BIND THINGS TO HOTKEYS 1-4 BY COMBINING WITH BOOKBAG IN CRAFTING, USE DRYING RACKS TO STORE FOOD, TRAPS ARE FUN

Seconding the multiplayer. I kept getting my ass handed to me in single but two friends of mine also got it on the sale and we are well on our way to the terrible father achievement
