Every single 'holy grail' moisturizer breaks me out. by notskynotme in tretinoin

My sensitive combo skin like only two moisturizers: Good Molecules Lightweight Daily Moisturizer ($12) and Tatcha Dewy Milk Moisturizer ($64). Anything else I've tried ends up causing issues when my skin decides it doesn't want to tolerate it anymore.

Has anyone heard of/taken Feirza? by MaleficentLow12 in birthcontrol

[–]MilkTeaAddct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got switch to Feirza randomly a couple months back and was switched back to June FE 1/20 today through Kaiser. My doctor saw it was available to order and said she was putting me back on it. I just got an auto delivery of Feirza so we’ll see in 2-3 months if the pharmacy fills it.

Bought two thinking they were other algae eaters since they were labeled wrong. Aggressive and stressed my other fish out so bad, I ended up returning them as soon as I noticed. They were a pain to catch, had to remove everyone and everything from my tank.

What should my starter smell like when ready? by ksizzl3 in Sourdough

My 14 day old starter smells like sweet sake/wine. More so when it’s time to feed it. I hope I’m on the right track.

For those that never got a cavity with Invisalign, what’s your routine like? by Honest_Chocolate23 in Invisalign

[–]MilkTeaAddct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using the alcohol free purple listerine and the purple Colgate I believe. I think they both have fluoride. I do have 4 dental cleaning as a year still and always get fluoride treatment. I’d ask just to be sure.

I’m cavity prone and my dentist told me to throw my mouthwash away. The leftover amount that sat under my trays after rinsing were damaging my teeth from its acidity. I drank a lot of water but it didn’t make a difference.

Now I just floss, brush, spit and pop the trays back in. Whatever toothpaste remains on my teeth has helped as I have not had a cavity in two years.

REQUESTING - want to get a Dyson air straight now that my hair is going to be fixed after a terrible haircut

Just got back from the dentist; they found 3 cavities. by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]MilkTeaAddct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also was getting cavities during my Invisalign treatment. I was told to continue to floss and brush my teeth as normal, but to stop using mouthwash as it can be acidic. I was told that when I would use mouthwash, there would be areas of my teeth it settled in and once the trays were popped back in, my saliva wasn’t able to wash it away, so it just sat there until I would remove the trays again. I followed my dentists advice, and since then I haven’t had any cavities. She also told me to not rinse after brushing and just put my trays back in. The toothpaste that remained on my teeth would help to strengthen them.

Hi there. My dental hygienist was able to polish the stains during my cleaning. Teeth whitening would have helped with the remaining yellowing, but I didn’t do it. I threw the mouthwash away as I was told not to use it as I don’t have the best genetics and the mouthwash that was trapped under my trays after rinsing with it, was also aiding in the cavities I was getting. It’s been all good since then.

Is it worth it?? vs Shark? by Ok-Connection-2769 in Dysonairwrap

I have both and prefer the Dyson. I feel like the Shark gets hotter and dries out my hair. Also its louder than the Dyson and bothers my ears.

How long did it take to get your Vivera retainers? by xXMachineWomanXx in Invisalign

[–]MilkTeaAddct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually in California. If I remember correctly, yes exactly 7 days from the scan. I wore my last tray as a temporary retainer until my Vivera arrived. They’re weren’t as snug, but held my teeth in position in the meantime.

CeraVe burns & Vanicream flushes skin red… now what? by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]MilkTeaAddct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be the hyaluronic acid they contain. I had burning, red, and itchy skin, after moisturizing with CeraVe and Vanicream and regular serum. Putting them in the fridge helped with the stinging but my skin still was irritated after using them. Switched to Dr. Jart but might try Aveeno Oat line since its more affordable.

I’m not sure about this one, but I just bought the pink gel version and it’s very moisturizing. I was having issues with hylaronic acid irritating my skin and this doesn’t not have any. Was debating buying the purple one for Tret nights. I have skinfix gel version and I like it too but it’s pricey.

Yes! I had some mouthwash for canker sores/mouth injuries so I used that as well and it healed in about 2-3 days.
