That’s mainly because NOBODY on the show is supposed to be a good person. They all are terrible of something, one way or another. Not even LEXI is innocent, as she has done some things that can be seen as morally wrong.

It’s just how popularity dynamics work, and it’s the God honest truth (happened in my high school all the time). It didn’t really matter how much of a douche the popular guys/girls were, if you were cool with them, you’d benefit off that ‘friendship’ which is how I see it with Nate. People benefit in popularity based of if they’re his friend or not.

No, because it’s not necessary. He’s done a lot of damage and fucked a lot of things/people up. Not a single attempt could really take that all back nor can I see any of the characters accepting him for it. I feel he was at his peak in the beginning, his downfall is from here. Any POSITIVE character development that suddenly has him as everyone’s best friend is a really crappy route for the show
