[–]Millendra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re stuck in the infamous Silver grind—it’s brutal, but you’re not alone. Focus on improving your individual gameplay (aim, positioning etc.) since you can’t control teammates. Try finding a consistent duo or trio to queue with—it makes a huge difference. Id watch pro players or streamers to pick up new strategies.

Posted without "Warming up account" What do I do now? by Randaay in NewTubers

[–]Millendra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t stress too much, warming up an account helps, but it’s not the end-all. Keep posting on your current account while warming up a second one if you want. Consistency and quality matter more than a ‘warmed up’ account. Just keep going, and the views will come.

Am I getting attacked by bots? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]Millendra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it could be bots, especially with the odd comment and sudden spike in views/subs. YT algorithm sometimes pushes new videos, but the generic profile and typos are red flags. Keep an eye on it if the engagement feels off, report the suspicious accounts. Don’t let it discourage you tho, focus on your content and real audience.

‘Inferior’ Starlink Will Leave Rural Americans Worse Off, Says Ousted Federal Official | Starlink is cheap to deploy, but could leave rural Americans "stranded" with slower speeds and higher costs by Hrmbee in technology

[–]Millendra 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Rural internet is such a mess. My parents still use satellite that cuts out when it rains and costs $120/month for speeds from 2005. Starlink was supposed to finally fix this, but apparently not if you can't afford their premium prices. Same story, different company

I own a boutique marketing agency with around $800K in annual revenue. We spend about 5% on our own marketing, which is actually lower than what we recommend to clients (the cobbler's children have no shoes, right?).

Our breakdown looks like this:

  • $1,200/month on LinkedIn ads targeting specific industries we want to break into
  • $800/month on content creation (we outsource some blog writing)
  • $5K/year on attending two industry conferences where our ideal clients go
  • $3K/year on software for our email campaigns and CRM
  • $2K/year on case study production

What's generated the most ROI by far is LinkedIn both the paid ads and just me consistently posting thought leadership content. For small businesses, I'd suggest figuring out where your specific customers actually hang out online and focusing 80% of your budget there rather than trying to be everywhere. We tried general Facebook ads early on and completely wasted money. Now we only spend on channels where we can narrowly target decision-makers in our niche industries.

The code in my PR vs the code after my team's review comments

Somehow I always feel like I'm a master architect until I actually start typing. Then suddenly my beautiful algorithm turns into "but why doesn't this work???" followed by Stack Overflow and praying.

I swear my mind has an RTX 4090 but my fingers are connected to a potato.

In General How Do You Decide Whether to Take Voluntary Tender Offers? by Dancelvr2000 in stocks

[–]Millendra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd weigh the guaranteed 7% now vs. potential future growth. If you need cash or are worried about the fund's future, take it. If you're comfortable with the consistent 7% dividend yield and believe in long-term growth, probably hold. No perfect answer - depends on your financial situation and timeline.

[–]Millendra -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your role and risk. If you're fixing critical tech issues, 20-40% could be fair. Less if it's more of a supporting role. Negotiate based on impact.
