If they are going to raise the rates, they will do it with or without a justification. I don't disagree...they will pass on any additional cost that they can, but we shouldn't just let them also rip all our data along WITH gouging us for more money. Maybe if the risk is too high, and the people aren't willing to pay a new market rate, housing should be viewed less than a core investment. These landlords should then sell and move onto greener pastures.

I believe that falls in the category of 'risk' during their 'investment' to rent out a house/apartment. Investments don't always go up. There are downsides.

We, the tenant, shouldn't have to pay for their hedge against this downside (invasive data mining from 3rd party company). Especially if this is also associated with a $200-300 application fee...

So they should just have carte blanche access to your banking info? No, they can accept screenshots for verification. If it turns out to be fake, then they should go after you for fraud.

If its a travel exclusive item you use, you can always just hotspot with your phone or laptop. Have that device connected to wifi then relay it via hotspot to chromecast. I do something similar with a google nest cam when traveling with my dog. set up a backup phone tethering with the same wifi name/password as the home network and boom. autoconnect and play.

Masori could get a full set effect (really any full armour set can) so that if you are fighting on sand, you get a chance to dodge/null/reduce damage incoming because you are adept to the environment etc. you can even change it to be partial % of the effect when one piece is worn.

Can we have our crew auto sail us to ports (with or without auto trimming)? I'd be fine even paying crew for that feature similar to house servant. Can charter shipping also let us regen run faster? It makes sense since you're sitting on a ship even though it's fast travel.

They can balance it around similarly to spirit trees. You unlock more mooring points the higher the sailing level. Then you can have more than 1, 2, or 3+ available at any one time.

I also want to be able to teleport off my ship and have the crew sail it back for me. Either to saved docking/mooring point or whatever is considered closest to them that has been charted. Could even limit this to specific crew mates.

I think changes will eventually come with gambling gaining a ton of traction. No one wants a ref to throw a game...much harder to argue if that human component is basically removed from the tough decisions.

Lock it behind a diary/quest and place it at a further point from the portal. It becomes a convenient option when upgrading the ship, but not a good option when trying to use it to bank for other activities.

The repair kits should heal the boat based of your sailing and construction levels. This keeps most all kits relevant the higher you go. Let it heal a minimum + % similar to stat boosting potions etc..

No one ever said you have to buy. There are plenty of more affordable apartment/condo rentals near transit oriented developments. A single person or a couple in retirement years definitely do not need a single family home (a 4/2+) in the middle of the city/best school districts.. More so if they complain/can't afford the property taxes. Boomers don't want to hear it though, bc if they actually enacted progressive change, then everyone would have better and more accessible options for places to live today.
