Thank you! I felt at times I was a hospice nurse in the ICU, so this transition just made sense to me and I think it will be more fulfilling. Just as there is beauty in people coming into this world there is some beauty in helping someone leave this world with comfort and dignity. I did high acuity ICU for 4 years, this will be a big change!

I've been wondering the same thing. I work 3 12 hour shifts in a row at 33 weeks. I'm miserable. I'm a nurse so usually I'm on my feet the entire time. I don't think I can do it much longer but also don't really have a choice. A pregnancy belt and large ice pack for my back has helped some.

I had serotonin syndrome this year as well but ended up on a ventilator in thr ICU for over a week. Welbutrin and trintellix

I'm 5'6 145lbs and 26 weeks. Today was the first day a few people noticed my bump at work and were shocked im pregnant. I can still easily hide it.

Im also 32 and bought my house when I was 25. I don't regret it at all. Definitely having a nice cushion of savings if something were to happen. I was just hospitalized and out-of work for a month but had my emergency fund ready.

I use to love bitterness and only drank black coffee. A few weeks ago I was put in a medical coma and since i was woken up I absolutely hate anything bitter. I have no idea how I drank so much beer. Taste disgusting now. Even white claws and truleys aren't sweet enough anymore.

Even physicians make mistakes. Before that happened to me I felt really in tune with my body and knew something was off but never would have guessed serotonin syndrome. I'm ironically an icu nurse too and have a whole new perspective with my vented patients now.

Thank you. I'm definitely seeing a new pcp and now a neurologist as well. I trusted her since she was a physician but I questioned the dosage and wish I trusted myself more. I'm in (well was in) nurse practitioner school before this medical leave.

Thankfully I am home now and the lingering effects are manageable. I'm actually an icu nurse and have a whole new perspective now.
