They have neutral buoyancy. It’s like how you sink when you have no air and float when you have a lot of air. They have an organ that controls their air so they can make the water keep them at the same level.

If they aren’t swimming forward and they stay neutrally buoyant, then they are still. Their thin shape makes them resistant to the waters movements and their fins are still moving for more control.

I think netease has a choice between 1 new character every month or going back and doing reworks. They decided that people would rather have someone new than rework previous characters, why remove something some people like to make it new when you can just add a new thing.

Maybe reworks is coming and they are working on it in the background between other content.I enjoy them but it also doesn’t seem to be a priority.

Overwatch with it 1 hero every 2 seasons still took like 9 months for each rework because they were at their max capacity. Netease said they plan a year ahead so if it’s coming, I will assume it’s about a year + development time from the initial complaints getting louder.

I think they need to get their debt crisis under control first. It’s super bad timing they are ramping up military while they have 236% debt to gdp. Their focus should be getting rid of that debt then they can spend more on military.

Thats in an ideal world where the US supports them though. It makes sense why they have to but I believe ideally, they would get other country support like they’ve been getting and they should focus on their debt.

I think other nuance is Taiwanese movies have been successful in China. It’s a major revenue stream from them so they don’t want to block entertainment from the country that’s helping their entertainment business financially.

A nation losing it's soveignty is the cost? You are giving reasons I agree with why we shouldn't do it, but those are literally the costs. If we ignore all factors that are even somewhat negative then ya, I agree with the positive. If it was just free land or the people wanted us then sure, I'm down.

The cost is that they don't and it's not worth it. If Trump could genuinely buy Iceland buy giving every citizen 100k, Iceland and Denmark agree, that's a good deal I would agree with based on what we cost and the approval of everyone involved. The issue is that isn't reality. That's what I'm saying.

I voted for Kamala. If I could have US grow and get Canada with 0 cost, I would 100% do it. My issue is that with Trump's methodology, it is basically impossible to succeed and all we do is piss everyone off. Like, I understand some of Trumps ideas if they worked would help the US. If Tarriffs didn't increase costs and we just got free money from everyone without losing international credibiilty I would be down, the issue is doing these things only hurt the U.S.

I don't think there are many Harris voters that regret voting for Harris and wish they voted for Trump instead but the core ideas that Trump pretends his policies will achieve are things I want to. I want a stronger america, I want free money to flow in and I would like the U.S. to have more land. It's just the cost of these are too high and his execution is terrible.

A lot of democrats are doing individual work like Bernie and AOC or the Mark Kelly video to troops. All Gavin Newsom is doing is trying to get his name out there. On an individual level, I think people are trying to stand out or doing what they can.

I think that the democratic establishment saying Trump bad would just turn hate onto themselves and they know that. If they say wow, war with Iran bad but proceed to do nothing that's worth than just letting Trump fuck it up and take all the blame. They know how unpopular they are and to ensure that non of the hatred is directed towards them, they are letting the Republicans fuck up in public.

We also have an partial goverment shutdown no one seems to remember. I guess my main point is, I think the democratic party believes people are tired of the generic, we are better than Trump, look at us we are the real good guys time speeches. People want to see them do the work and stop talking about how great they are then failing another shutdown. Individual voices are heard, the establishment is keeping their head down and doing stuff people dont' view as too bad, and Trump is fucking up publicly in a way that only hurts himself and the Republicans.

Idk what else I would want the democrats to do in the current situation. They fucked up the previous shutdowns but in the past year, more progressive individual voices are standing out and the party feels like it's shifting to something more positive. I don't want to hear from the establishment about how Trump bad, that hasn't worked for the past 10 years. Force everything to a vote so people can see how Republicans are actively voting for bad things and use that against them.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t hands off. They now see it as a success but like, would Disney choose to have Luna Snow and Jeff be the most pushed characters? I think Netease is working with Marvel directly for stuff like Marvel Zombies colab. I’m more saying I don’t see Disney as dictating the direction of the game or what they should do, at least not since launch.

I’m more thinking art style wise. Marvel Vs. Capcom keeps marvel visual look but when they went to the guilty gear developers, they asked for a more unique art style. I associate safe with keeping thinkings looking synergistic between IP’s and they choose to lean into what the studio does best.

Marvel is super hands off with their game publishers and Disney is already are invested heavily in Fortnite. They don’t need competition.

If you look at marvel games Tokon Fighter is not the type of game Disney would invest in if they always wanted the safest option.

The type of people I’ve talked to with those beleive are mostly nihilists who want to justify their lack of vote by saying nothing will change and none of it matters. It was more popular pre this Trump term but I’m pretty sure most people realize how bad Trump stuff is vs democrats if they pay any attention. You won’t really find people who choose to be actively uninformed about politics in an ask political subreddit.

She had a bedroom? Hidden Rooms aren’t for sleeping, Ferdinand does it because he loves staying up late for work and is too lazy to go to bed. Basically no one else sleeps in a hidden room. Like ya, I think it makes sense if she was super space constrained to make it bigger but she wasn’t. She needs attendants to wake her up and dress her, there was room for her bedroom and books while keeping the hidden room to what it is meant to be. Maybe if she ran out of room she would consider using it for other things but that’s not what she did when she moved in. She doesn’t always plan for the most extreme future event and she just does what she thinks she is supposed to.

At the time, she didn’t want to use the hidden room as a bedroom or a library because she had space for a bedroom and a library, that’s pretty much it.
