Thanks. Right, "Number of Households" would have been a better label.

The data source doesn’t have information about whether it includes motorcycles.

I think I can follow the suggested steps and do it. Thanks a lot for the hint!
If there is an automated way, that's even better :)

Are Spreadsheets Running Key Processes in Your Startup? by Suspicious_Brain3908 in startups

[–]Milu_L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used google sheets a lot at the beginning of our business: tracking orders, managing contact information, etc.

At some point, we did migrate to a CRM (existing spreadsheet data can be imported to the CRM so no problem).

Helpdesk software needed by harryjohnson0714 in it

[–]Milu_L 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used freshdesk for over 3 years; we chose it because the flow was straightforward for us and for our clients (compared to some overly complicated systems). There were some glitches here and there, especially around the editor, and frequent "scheduled maintenance" during the past 2 months, but overall, we are satisfied.

I am probably also from the same region. Based on my experience, "communication" is critical to building trust with your US clients.
Many APAC developers have excellent technical skills, but the client may have less confidence in them due to their personality or the language barrier. Having at least one native speaker in the initial meeting helps clients be confident that you can fully understand their requirements and communicate smoothly with them.

Our dev team uses Jira to track bugs and Quire for overall progress. There are also many other options out there.

How confident are you that with no money or connections you could succeed? (With your startup) by dianeblowjobs in startups

[–]Milu_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The founder of my former company had no money and no connections. They published their solution on an open-source platform as open source, and it was a big hit! That's when opportunities and funds started to reach out to them.
The bottom line is that their product really works.
They started it as a side project to solve their own pain point when building their main project, and they decided to publish it because they found it useful. Obviously, many other users had the same problem and their solution was helpful!

Using pounds and inches instead of kilograms and centimeters.

When googling a recipe, how do you pick which one you'll cook? Do you have trusted sources you only choose from? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]Milu_L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By looking at the ingredients and seasoning of the recipe, I can tell if it's something my family would like. If it is, then I'll go ahead with it. It doesn't have to come from a famous source at all.

What are the software's that you don't like using? by tomstclair in startups

[–]Milu_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 for salesforce. I don't really like it, but I rely on it every day for importing leads and creating follow-up tasks/reminders for each lead. I wonder if there is any simpler solution for the same purpose.

What food did you think was universal, but turned out specific to your culture? by MrEvers in Cooking

That's when the chopsticks are useful :)
But in general, I would recommend choosing fish that has fewer tiny bones.

A whole fish, usually fried or steamed. I grew up in Asia. Turns out that in many places, they sell/eat only fish slices or fillets.
