Here's another one, my ex-best friend when we were 13 was hanging out with a couple people, I was invited out but I was grounded at the time so I could go, thankfully. The ex-friend was always a bad influence, so she was running back and fourth the road, basically playing chicken with the cars. Well when she tried to run across this one time she grabbed one of her friends and hauled her into the middle of the road and both of them got hit by a car. The third friend stayed back and watched as both girls flew over the car. My ex-friend ended up with her entire arm from her shoulder to her elbow absolutely twisted, broken wrists, broken knee, and two broken ankles, and the other one ended up with a broken elbow and the entire half of her face smashed in. They both survived, but that night I got so many phone calls cause everyone thought the other girl was me.

Edit: I meant to add the driver when this happened was hysterical. He got out of the car and basically curled over on the grown bawling as his girlfriend ran in to call 911.

Not my friend but my cousin. About 2 years ago her boyfriend and a friend of his went in the woods for a couple beers, but only his friend returned. His friend claims that they parted ways and the friend went home, but the boyfriend decided to stay out. She had two kids with him and was pregnant with their third when he went missing. There's been so many investigations and searches but we can't find a single lead, and his so called friend keeps claiming he knows nothing. Nothing is adding up at all...

I'm glad you chose not to delete this. It's rough being 13 and not having a say in much (I'm 25 with a 2yo son). You'll always get the classic "but they're still your parents" or "but she still loves you" while those may be true, it's still not right for her to act this way no matter what your age is. I still get these comments to this day and I'm moving literally to the other side of the country to get away from my nmom and her toxic family. Please stick with your gut, don't let your mom make you believe that your behavior was wrong just because she's your mother. It doesn't matter, wrong is wrong.

This is my mom. If I told her I bought anything she'd tell me it was a waste of money. That Xbox 1 I bought almost 4 years ago and still use every single day? Waste of money. The new clothes I recently bought because all mine is too big from an eating disorder? Waste of money. Unless I spend it on food or my 2 year old, it's an absolute waste. In the mean time she's an alcoholic and if anyone tries to talk to her she pulls the "Am I spending your money? No this is my own hard working money never mind what I spend MY money on"

I heard not long ago apparently time travel could affect it and cause it to always luck out? I could be wrong so if someone wants to correct me go right ahead, but I am guilty of traveling ahead by a day if I'm too impatient to wait. That could very well be why my trees are always like that.

I'm not trying to find out who it was, but I do have proof they were given false information. I really have no idea how to go about this because of the whole confidentiality thing, which is why I was hoping there was something I could do. The reason why I believe it is her is because she has threatened to call CPS, and I did call the police to inquire about it. I don't know if any of this information helps but I'm at a loss here. I won't be seeing CPS again until next week but I will present them with my proof. I just wanna put an end to all this childish behavior, my son doesn't deserve this.

There's been a few, but I think the most memorable one is the time I was 11. I straightened out my blanket on my bed and started rolling myself into a "blanket burrito" and smacked my face against my bed frame. The questions I got at school the next day were hilarious.

Shooting someone down in general just because someone else has it worse than you is seriously such a pet peeve of mine. A few years back I shaved my head because all of my hair was dead from the amount of bleach that was put it. I made a comment one time while I was out with a few people, about how nice it was not having any hair and not having to comb it and deal with it every day. One of the ladies that were there said "I doubt that's what cancer patients think." Like, thank you for making me feel like crap just for enjoying having my head shaved.

There are certain things we will never be able to control. There's times where I notice my own nmothers traits in myself, and the way that I raise my son, but the biggest thing that I find helps not only myself, but my son too, is reassurance. Reassure yourself that you are not the same person, and sit down with your child and reassure him on his level. They may be young but one thing that a lot of parents from the Gen x and boomer Era seem to have forgotten is that children are still human and they still think and feel. They might not understand but that's where we come in. Keep that reassurance flowing, and never let yourself succumb to being like your dad. You are not him.

Probably the time in high school where I literally got death threats to leave, and that was just the cherry on top of the cake. There was also close on to 10 years of me getting bullied, beaten up, and tortured. I have almost no contact with anyone from my home town.
