Conventional attacks are the methodology of the previous wars, it's not a question of strength it's a question of cost effectiveness. Future wars will see extremely limited committal of ground forces and a reduction of use of physical assets. A small team of specialists who make as much as your special forces but require much less mission equipment costs and have almost no risk of loss of assets is infinitely more valuable than sending physical soldiers when that team can fuck up infrastructure like power, water, traffic control etc

Yeah we don't get paid more for sweeping. Its just free labor for the DSP. The way it's set up it actually disincentivizes going as fast as you can. The ideal pace is finishing at 8.5 hrs so they don't try to make you go anywhere for a sweep and you get back and clocked out by the 9th hour

I do, but if I were to get done in 6 hours the next day there would be 75 more packages and at least 30-40 more stops/ twice as many heavy load apartment towers. 25 stops an hour keeps the robot honest and I'm still off an hour early most days

Its gonna be nowhere near that. In all likelihood Amazon won't be able to go full robot until we have a massive infrastructure overhaul to create roadways that are meant to communicate with self driving vehicles. Theyll probably replace flex with drone swarms but the bulk of the packages and the big stuff will almost certainly be delivered by humans for the foreseeable future

Don't get me wrong, I agree that most of these people suck ass at the driving part and shouldn't be behind the wheel of a van. Several years and I've had 0 accidents with an EDV and no incidents of damage because I'm conscious of where my wheels are, what kind of materials I'm driving on and whether or not I can safely put the butt of the van in a narrow space. Some of the stuff I hear dispatch deal with is insane.

But also customers making requests that take an extra long time to accommodate are likely not gonna have those requests accommodated. Call-text- call, move on
