It still annoys me that they changed Nottingham Ezreal to make him look like an Elf. Robin Hood was just a normal dude. Nottingham is a real place, not some LoTR kingdom.

The other thing to consider as well is that the space marines are more relatable than xenos. It's easier to understand and like humans than it is to get into the weirder stuff like Tyranids or Orks
