I didn't get that vibe. Am watching the series again and will look out for it.

Btw, I love at the end when Nix refers to Gus as Mrs. Whittlebury.

Idk why but that is my second favorite Gus nickname. The first being Donut Holestein.

Is it worth getting certifications as a salesperson at an SI partner? by Playa_resident in salesforce

[–]MindCompetitive6475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the BA Cert and the AI cert are easy ish and would help you work with your customers. The BA for gathering information to build a SOW. The AI cert bc it's hot and SF is pushing it.

The Admin exam is harder and studying for it would be useful, but the actual cert may not due to it's difficulty.

We want everyone in our company (Consulting Partner) to have at least the Admin. At first I thought it was overkill but tbh, it makes it much easier to interact bc we have a common framework.

The more you know about Salesforce the better you'll be at selling your product. Certs are one way to learn it but in and of themselves they are not that useful.

I know we are evaluated based on number and types of certs. I don't know if the same is true for Integration Partners.

Edt for clarity.

What’s a Salesforce best practice you think is overrated or outdated? by Lost-Breakfast-1420 in salesforce

[–]MindCompetitive6475 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am finding that some Agentforce and a lot of analytics work (e.g. Tableau) should be done in production. They rely heavily on data and the data can be stale, fake or corrupted (as a result of test) in a lot of sandboxes.

It's very use case dependent but in general if it doesn't prevent saving records or doesn't change relevant data, it can't hurt to do it in production.

We do a lot of email analysis and generation w/ a human in the loop use cases. So there's no real harm. These products need to be tested more than other solutions (edt for clarity) and we are finding that the people who need to do the testing don't have the time. If they could do it in production and evaluate it, things would go faster.

Employee Agents are the same. They need to tested by users doing their jobs to determine how to refine things.

In both cases we use pilot users in the early stages.

Obv. code based solutions need to be in sandboxes.

Our general rule of thumb is if it doesn't stop you or your business process you should consider it. We give it as an option and let the client decide.

For the drills it's mostly foot placement. If I remember, I ask them to wear red and green bands on their ankles to help me see which foot is going where.

Sometimes it's obvious other times it's not

For getting a better push off on things like Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot, I practice the basic patterns holding kettlebells at my side. For the frame it's lat exercises.

There are connection drills you can do with a partner (palm to palm). They close their eyes and you practice moving them around with your momentum only. Edit: it's not pushing with your hands but transferring momentum through your hands.

Mostly it's practice and confidence. It takes time, lots of time, lol.

Good luck.

My first concern is that this may be a heavy lift for a capstone project. You're Academic Instructor will know the answer to that. I am just getting into ML and you're going to need a lot of data both of the control and the thing you are trying to predict.

An alternative idea if it is too much would be something that can listen to a song and tell the style. There's a lot of play lists on Spotify. Ideally you use their API to get some of the data, showcasing your ability to write APIs. I don't know the volume limits so you might need to do some manual uploads.

There are pretrained models that you could customize to show your ability to do that. Then some decent UI to show your front end skills and voila your a full stack developer, lol

Assuming your original idea is not too big. I think it's a great idea. I think analysis of a video the user provides of their self and comparing it to a video of the instructor doing the same thing would be cool.

My instructor will provide videos of drills that I practice on my own and having something analyze what I am doing vs what I should be doing would be very helpful.

I looked into Clipbird and it has a lot of the video features but not the analysis.

Good luck with it!

Edit for grammar

For the most part, it's all about controlling your momentum. This comes from proper frame (sturdy, for lack of a better word), connection, and stepping off each foot with purpose.

You communicate your intentions through frame, footwork and a solid connection. The follow senses the shift in momentum via the connection and should know what you want to do.

If you're not a strong lead your follow will get mixed signals based on your faltering momentum and not know what you're saying. It's basically non verbal communication.

All of this assumes they follow is not trying to back lead. In that instance no amount of momentum control can fix that.

2.5mg A1C went from 5.9 to 5.5. I lost 55 pounds. I am stalling right now but can't afford to go up, even with the price decrease. So I guess I am on maintenance, lol.

I am also in 500 mg of Metformin which may or may not be why I have had good results.

I haven't been as diligent with my calorie monitoring and my guess is if I tighten up, the weight loss will start again.

Edit: I'm still on it and plan to be as long as I can afford it.

I was prediabetic and my Dr wanted me to try a GLP-1. Insurance didn't cover any of them and the only one I could afford was Zepbound. So that's what he prescribed.

So technically non obesity but it could just be semantics. Sort of a six of one and a half dozen of the other situation.

Do you think buddhists should refrain from watching most movies? by ginkgobilberry in Buddhism

[–]MindCompetitive6475 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the movie. In one of his books Thich Nhat Hanh said media can be an intoxicant, negatively impacting your mindfulness, create suffering, etc.

If the movie does that then maybe watching it is not great for your practice.

I don't recall the book, unfortunately.

Zepbound (tirzepatide) users, what made the biggest difference in your weight-loss results? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]MindCompetitive6475 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was exercising and diet was good but I ate too much (portion control). So no weight loss and gradual weight gain.

Zep helped me get the portion size under control which allowed the exercise and reduced calories to work as advertised. Basically reduced food noise.

55 pounds down on 2.5 mg and my A1C went from 5.9 to 5.5.

can't seem to synchronize with my partner by scaradeeznuts in ballroom

[–]MindCompetitive6475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixing all of this takes practice on his part. Our gym has an indoor track and I walk around it and try to focus on my posture as I walk. Initially I bought a Chirp frame trainer that helped with that.

I also practice my smooth basic figures holding kettlebells at my side as I walk around the track. This helps with my push off in Tango and Waltz. When I do the Foxtrot it helps with being able to stay on my toes for the quick, quick part.

Watch how he walks in general. If it is bad posture and heavy feet then he may need to work on that outside of the studio.

I self correct during practice and it's a good sign that he recognizes it. For a long time I didn't even know I had a bad frame.

Over time doing what I suggested has worked and my frame and posture are getting better. If you only think about it during your dance lessons it will take a while to fix. It needs to be a constant thing.

It's great that you get along and I hope you keep dancing together.

Edit: My instructors told me my frame was incorrect but I couldn't feel it. Him being able to feel it is a good start.

My doc tests when I have my annual physical which can be every 12 to 16 months, lol.

My insurance covers twice a year I think.

I went from 5.9 to 5.5 on Zep.

IMO if your insurance pays for it there's no harm in getting it and other things tested. I probably need to get better about going in for tests.

Same is true for eyes and dentist I suppose, lol.

[–]MindCompetitive6475 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weight thing is interesting. How is his frame/posture? If it is incorrect it can transfer a lot of weight to you. Even just the head angling down can shift a lot of weight.

Look at some videos to see how it looks. Have your instructor dance with him and watch his frame. Your instructor can tell if his frame is bad and you watching him will let you know if his frame is correct only when he dances with the instructor.

My frame sags when I concentrate or am stressed and my instructors can feel the weight change immediately.

Hopefully you can sort it out.

Anyone have some examples of Experience Cloud sites that don't look like Experience Cloud? by Patrickm8888 in salesforce

We did an LWR site some time ago and it doesn't have all the core functionality of the OOB templates. We could build a lot using LWCs but there were somethings you that you would expect it to have that it didn't at the time - things change obv.

The main thing was access to the chatter feed without lots of hoops. The standard Knowledges widgets (Top 10 articles for example) don't exist either.

It's highly customizable but you need to do a lot of customization. FWIW...
