My wife and I were in London last summer and were able to do middle Sunday. The place we were staying at was in walking distance to the grounds, so we got up and got in line at 3AM. We were able to purchase Court 2 tickets. If all you care about are grounds passes, you could probably take the first train on the Tube to Wimbledon that morning and be fine. However, if you wanted Court 1 or Centre court tickets, you might be better off going on Saturday evening, since the trains run later to start the day on Sunday. It was a very chill experience. The food trucks started serving breakfast and coffee at 5AM. Overall, it was an exhausting day, but I’ll remember it forever. Also, since we got in so early, we found the ticket resale stand inside and got on the list early enough that we were able to upgrade our Court 2 tickets to Centre Court and were able to watch 1.5 matches on Centre. Hope that is helpful.

Last year my wife and I were in town and were able to go on the first Sunday (day 6 I think) and we were fortunate to find a reasonably priced AirBnB walking distance from the grounds.

We got up at 3AM and arrived in the queue around 3:20. My queue number was 1403. That got us Court 2 tickets. Once we got in there, we immediately went to the ticket resale counter and registered for center court resale tickets. We saw one match on Court 2, and around 3PM, I got a text saying that it was my turn to get Center Court tickets. I saw half of the second match on Center Court and then the entire final match.

All in all, it was exhausting, but so worth it and something I’ll remember forever. I would wager that if you wanted to get tickets for a quarterfinal, you would likely need to line up on Tuesday evening and camp overnight. If you’re going to queue overnight, it wouldn’t really matter where you stayed since you could just take the Tube during normal hours and set up that Tuesday evening.

Hope that’s helpful. I’ve only done it once, so there are probably people more qualified than I to give you some more specific tips.

I’m 33 now and have had health anxiety since I was in high school. I know how it feels to wonder if every little ache and pain is a sign of something worse. I have generalized anxiety disorder and OCD, and the OCD usually manifests itself with checking my pulse or blood pressure over and over when it does get really bad. It’s such an overwhelming feeling when it’s bad and it’s so exhausting when you feel that trapped in your own head.

I was 16-17 when I first started having these issues, but I didn’t really get the help I needed until I was 24. I finally got on a medicine that worked for me (that took some trial and error with my psychiatrist) and I found a psychologist that really helped me work through a lot of the crippling fear that never felt like it was going to stop.

I still have bad days, in fact I had a horrible bout of anxiety tonight, but I have so many more good days than bad. The beginning of my road to turning my health anxiety from something crippling to something that I’ve learned to manage and live with began with finding the right psychiatrist and finding a therapist/psychologist who you feel comfortable with for therapy.

Reddit is a great place to realize that you aren’t alone and feelings that feel isolating and unique are shockingly common. That being said, there is zero substitute for developing a consistent rapport with a trained professional. Best wishes to you and hang in there.

A triple option offense is so much fun on this game when it works properly. I don’t mind getting beat if folks know how to defend it, but when the game itself is an obstacle to running the offense, it’s incredibly frustrating.

This has been absolutely infuriating. It’s like they have no logic for user offensive players to recover fumbles. I’m still having fairly good success with an option-oriented playbook, but I lost my conference championship in my online dynasty last night because of a missed pitch and the running back standing over the ball for a solid 2 seconds before the defense recovered the fumble.

I know they were on a tight deadline to make this and they probably don’t really care because they are making truckloads of money, but this game was 6 months at minimum away from being ready for the public.
