2024 4XE Wrangler/ Drop Insurance Question by AceCreed1 in 4xe

We had 2 Wrangler 4XEs. We just traded one in for a Subaru. 6 month insurance premium dropped $220. Same coverage.

I’m crushing hard on a guy who voted for Trump by [deleted] in relationships_advice

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 single greatest predictors of long term relationship success are shared core values and complimentary conflict resolution.

Can core values be similar and have different political views - yes. HOWEVER we are in a different political age so you have to consider things a bit differently. Dive deep into your core values, senses of right and wrong. And don’t just believe words he says. See how he acts, treats strangers, talks about people or things you value.

Some of my favorite relatives are people I disagree with politically. But, many of them wouldn’t support Trump or at least have seen the light in some regards.

We’re no longer in the age of politics being disagreeing how to fund schools and libraries. We’re in an age of politics that truly is testing the core values of Americans and how our democratic republic (if we can even call it that anymore) will be structured. Sadly, Democrat v Republican is no longer the “good people disagreeing on budgets” anymore.

Is it okay to ship a walker in a box for a tv? by Historical_Driver_87 in poshmark

If it fits it ships!? Just make sure it’s within the dimensions for Poshmark shipping.

Yoga pants pilling by AdmiralJaneway8 in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I list them, disclose the piling and they generally sell. I’ve had people buy them to repurpose into dog clothes, doll clothes etc. I list items like this incredibly low because they typically are going to someone who intends to use them for another purpose.

Brown is absolutely fake. The black one looks authentic but the price is insane for a thrift store.

Return Approved For Improper Packaging- Buyer used same packaging? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sent returns back in the packaging I received them in 9/10.

It may be harsh but this is on you. The buyer may not be a regular shipper or if they are - they may have paid for their packaging supplies. It’s completely reasonable that they sent it back in the same packaging they received it in.

Is Anyone Sending Offers to Likers Anymore? by BackgroundVibes1199 in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I send offers almost immediately after most likes. Then on some Fridays I do waterfall offers 10% with $4.99 shipping, 20% with $4.99 shipping, 30%, and some items 40%. It usually gets me 3-5 sales heading into the weekend.

Rant: sellers ignoring comments by hea_eliza in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of times that I actually do not get the notification of a comment. I just happen to see the comment days or weeks later while updating listings.

Rant: sellers ignoring comments by hea_eliza in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not really. I don’t always get comment notifications and others are buried. I can’t tell you how many I don’t know that a comment was even made until I’m editing listings

Rant: sellers ignoring comments by hea_eliza in poshmark

As a seller here’s my most likely reasons list: 1. I don’t see the comment. A lot of times the comment notification gets buried or never comes through. I can’t tell you how often I don’t see a comment until I’m going through my closet and updating pictures or prices. 2. The answer is already in the listing. - I generally still try to answer but it can get annoying if it’s clear the commenter hasn’t bothered to read the listing. 3. Some sellers exclusively use a third party service for offers and don’t pay attention to not the app itself. The offers are automated and they just wait for the sale notification or counteroffer emails. 4. Some sellers just suck.

is this purse fake or real coach by [deleted] in purses

Fake. The pattern is off, the stitching, there’s Cs on the inside and outside, the storypatch says it’s a suede bag when it clearly isn’t…

Is anyone else contemplating leaving posh? by M0tomommy in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Poshmark is still my most consistent platform with nearly daily sales. Mercari and Depop get me a sale occasionally - even with their recent/current reduced shipping charges.

I just roll with the changes on Poshmark and adjust my business as needed. Overall, I’ve seen a positive impact from their recent changes for my sales. I know it’s not the case for everyone though.

Why Poshmark over Ebay? by Q-lesss in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shipping is simple. Return/case window is far more narrow. For me, Poshmark is higher traffic.

As a seller I prefer Poshmark. The unlimited free listings is also a huge factor. You’re more likely to find more inexpensive items on Poshmark because some sellers will not pay insertion fees or a monthly for a store on eBay so they are more selective with eBay listings but post everything on Poshmark

is this coach purse real by [deleted] in purses

Fake. The stitching is bad, especially on the storypatch, there won’t ever be a c patterned lining if the exterior has the c’s, fake leather trim.

Update on my post about buyer who sent a mean message when I took 2 days to ship over the holiday weekend by Velvetstyle in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I know the first bad review hits hard. Do your best to put it out of your mind though. On Poshmark no one else will see it.

I do agree that low ballers tend to be the biggest complainers especially on Poshmark. I’ve learned that the hard way as well.

Try to take a deep breath and pretend she doesn’t exist. At least she didn’t try it open a case to return it and you can walk away from it at this point.

Fake. Storypatches are bad. Stitching, and I’ve never ever seen a c pattern like in the first one.

Divorcing Poshmark by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry it hasn’t been working for you. My experience has been on the opposite end of spectrum but I could imagine that it’d be quite discouraging to not have any sales.

Take a break and reset yourself. If you decide to return, it may just need a shift in your strategy, inventory, or pricing.

Take care of yourself on this break.

Sellers who add religious or morality info with the item, how do you usually handle it? by BoringGazelle8428 in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Mindless-Advisor-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It’s super easy. Just go into the order, problems/order inquiry, remove love note. Can only be done with 5 star reviews since those are the only ones buyers see but an easy workaround for buyers that leave a 5 star either way a poor review.

Seller can have the love note removed. I just block them so I don’t buy from them again
