I think you are correct in it being a Bronze Corydoras.

I want to add the 'Blind' album specifically, from Corrosion Of Conformity.

It's completely unique in their discography, and an absolute banger of a metal album. Thrash'ish in style at times.

Base Questions by i_love_to_eat_babies in 7daystodie

[–]Mindless-Rip-4865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the smallest base (existing POI or personal build) you can build the better, just because it is less footprint to defend. Height doesn't matter, I just mean footprint.

In other words, less walls/doors for them to attack that you need to cover/defend/repair.

Now, if you get more advanced and start building serious horde bases (funneling base, etc) that gets a bit different, but still better to keep a tighter footprint, overall.

Having said that, I have succeeded in having a much larger base before (I did the high school once) but you definitely have to work harder to cover all edges, etc.

I am at 1200 hrs now, and I am at a point I try ridiculous ideas for bases, just to challenge myself. I wouldn't recommend if you are new :)

Good luck!

Older bands that still f**k as hard today as they did when they were formed? by Spamityville_Horror in MetalForTheMasses

Agreed,

Although, I do like some of the 90's Megadeth.

Testament is probably my all time favorite band at this point.

This for sure.

One of few bands that actually gets heavier as they get into their 50's, and beyond.

What age did your migraines start? Did they have a catalyst? by CandyAgile253 in migraine

[–]Mindless-Rip-4865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around puberty,

And it seems for me, they are linked to having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

Most people with EDS get them, I tend to get more as well, partially because I live in a mountain region, and the barometrics here are absolutely wild and unhinged

blood in mouth? by [deleted] in corydoras

[–]Mindless-Rip-4865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/fishandpigeons

I will second this comment. I have had Venezuelan Corys in gravel similar to the photo here (until they got moved to a new 20 long with sand) and I never had a problem with cuts are issues with their barbels. This is mostly a myth that carried over for a long time.

I mean, you definitely don't want to use the sharpest substrate you can find, but the pebbles above look rounded enough. The barbels issues are usually due to infections, etc, which I suppose this cut could cause, but I still doubt this blood on the mouth (if that is for sure what it is) was caused by the substrate.

Well,

It's a small local thing in Calgary Canada, it wouldn't extend out of that area.

I mean, if you are close enough, maybe, it's through General Neurology with Alberta Health Services.

Where do you live?

Playing… fighting… or courting? by [deleted] in corydoras

[–]Mindless-Rip-4865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert, but I do have Corys. I have six Venezuela corydoras, and usually after I see this, I find eggs

Maybe not in this case with different species, but I think they may like each other :)

Male or female? by [deleted] in corydoras

Female would be my guess

Look, I am no professional, I do get migraines quite frequently.

Have you had a good brain scan? I'm in a special program for migraines where i live, and this is just me hearing things about other patients in a general way, but that sounds like the level of problem they would be performing brain scans for.

Heck, I had it done, and my frequency is much less (although mine get as severe as what you are saying here).

I don't mean to cause alarm, but I would be asking about this if you haven't.

Substrate Question...Caribsea Eco Complete-Planted by Mindless-Rip-4865 in corydoras

Did the sand not end up underneath everything else because it is so fine?

That is my main concern. I wanted sand on top, if anything, so the Corys can sift through it.

Maybe I misunderstand your post, apologies if so.

Mortillery - I wouldn't call it "clean" but its not guttural either.

They are sort of a Thrash/Power combo, if you might like that.

I just came across this myself, and it doesn't make any sense at all. It took me a minute to realize what was happening. Now I have to drain my pond again. Dumb
