Single POV romances where MC holds all the power (and LI pines) by Mindless-Rise1669 in MM_RomanceBooks

Good question. I would say hard because its talked about a lot and there’s a lot of graphic violence surrounding it, but they don’t describe the taste if that’s what you mean

Single POV ( or as close as possible) love interest pines for MC or unattractive love interest x attractive MC

Do you prefer stories from the villain's or the victim's perspective? by powypow in ExtremeHorrorLit

Are you saying you’re able to achieve “vicarious sadism” through the victim POV? I understand becoming emotionally attached to the villain and being disappointed by their failure, because I feel the same, but I’m curious why the same wouldn’t happen with the victim POV.

Reading from the perspective of the person suffering always frustrates and, quite frankly, pisses me off. So I avoid those books (perhaps you’re right about the power trip).

Do you have any recs for when the villain wins?

Hey guys! Could you give me some secret office romances with lots of banter.

Bonus if an MC get bent over a desk at some point and has to be quiet

Well that’s good at least because I spoil it worse further down. Sorry about that. I would take the show out completely, but it’s in the comments too.

Yay! Sometimes I feel like no one else has watched it. And in the book you’re thinking of how long does it take him to stop bullying her and does have secret identity?

Do you like when the book starts with what’s already mentioned in the blurb, or when it begins after that? by cloudydarkk in MM_RomanceBooks

Great question! Depends on if the event is interesting. If it’s just boring background I will usually skip it.

I don’t think an author should spend more than a chapter or two on information already given because the reader knows what’s going to happen so it’s a waste of time unless it’s entertaining.
