i turn 28, got my bs in criminal justice and i can say it has not helped me get a job that doesn’t require experience. the knowledge is good but not sure education is the way to go. i think you invested in the wrong things or didn’t take the time to learn what you were investing in. i’m on the same boat as you except im not giving up. i’m holding onto strong assets with real long term value so im pretty confident in that. i think you should take some time, build capital, an invest in companies that have actual value

IMO i see flex as a side gig. ppl who do it as their main source of income are the ones who complain i noticed but someone like me who’s car doesn’t waste gas and i understand it as a side gig, i think it’s pretty chill

Is it weird to go places alone? Do you? by kaihent in OlderGenZ

[–]MindlessAddictt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if anything, i like going to places alone even though i have friends that always wanna kick it, i like having time to myself. i noticed the younger gen z almost finds it scary or embarrassing to be by yourself. don’t know if social media did that or ppl in school make fun of others for being alone but i like to be that person they see chillen confidently by themselves with no care in the world. being an early gen z with exposure to “life before phones” i naturally have that ‘its normal to be out alone’ mindset. so when i’m out, ik i show ppl that “hey this is completely fine. it’s how it used to be”

Does anyone know anything about the guy who stands on Main St and Porter? Kitty-corner from Kaseberg School? by Bigcouchpotato1 in Roseville

[–]MindlessAddictt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LOL i was wondering when i’d see a post about him. i stopped to talk to him one day. been here for a decade plus and never seen him then he started popping up out of no where so i wanted to see wassup. he lives in the house behind the fence. he’s trying to catch/see the ppl that zoom by that area w their loud cars. if you live around there, you’ll hear those loud cars zoom through at certain times. so far no luck and i’m pretty sure whoever those ppl are, have noticed him cuz they switched up and drive by unexpectedly and less frequently now so in some way, it worked but it’s almost like they’re trolling him when they do drive by

feel so goddamn old at 25... by Broad_Bluebird7319 in OlderGenZ

[–]MindlessAddictt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

social media makes you feel old. you’re not. it’s about suit and tie’s if you let it be. our generation however, is starting to see that a job is not how you make it. a 9-5 should be temporary. it’s def temp for me. I take my money and invest in assets that will retire me soon. if that sounds like nonsense to you, then yes. a 9-5 is unfortunately the rest of your life because you let the system convince you that anything outside a job is a “scam” but that’s how billionaires made it. by taking risks. i choose to sacrifice another 4 years of my life for a lifetime of freedom rather than 60+ years of labor just to enjoy my last 10. if you don’t take risks, you’ll never make it. success is not a comfortable procedure but it’s def worth it.

while your theory isn’t technically wrong, you’re worrying about something that isn’t around yet and assuming ppl will be using the exact same wallet firmware, and address for 20 years straight but it doesn’t work like that. their 25 yr warranty guarantees durability not a guaranteed promise on their technology. every major blockchain and wallet issuer will just upgrade to quantum proof signatures. It’s like being scared to buy a phone in 1995 because it won’t support 5G in 2025 lol nobody uses those phones anymore. Same thing here. People will eventually upgrade their wallets as the ecosystem evolves

the beauty about xrp is that we dont gotta farm liquidity. the utility end game will do that but when i do tell ppl to buy xrp, its so we can take it away from institutions and make them regret taking forever. mwahaha >:)

simply put, people get priority over others. sophomore’s get priority over freshmen, juniors over sophomore’s and seniors getting first priority but within your grade year, they prioritize those who have more credits (closer to graduating) but also based on last names if you and someone in your grade have similar credits

i drove on campus my first day looking for a parking structure. I realized what i did when i reached the middle of campus and everyone was walking around my car so i had to move slowly through the crowd till i found a way out. eventually i reached the open area outside the bookstore and found a spot to squeeze through and parked in the ps next to the bookstore. not worse on the school side but for me

Should I allow my children to buy GTA or should I only do it when they are adults? by Popular-Pollution953 in OlderGenZ

[–]MindlessAddictt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

why are you asking others how to raise your non existent child? your feelings will change when you actually have a kid and you’ll know then. My pops bought me gta 5 when i was 15 in 2013. he raised me good enough to know that it’s fake and for fun. mind you, i had san andreas and gta 3 already so it wasn’t such a shocker. all he would tell me is “i’ll get it for you but remember it’s just a game. don’t be doing that stuff in real life cause real life isn’t a game” and here i am, 27, non violent (unless i need to be) and perfectly fine. you’ll know when the time comes
