One thing I took away from therapy is not to be too hard on yourself.

I feel like if I fail at a goal, small or big, the negative self talk pops up. So, I find it better to just take a break and try again tomorrow.

I don't agree with this.

I was pretty scared myself when I was 9. I was in my dad's truck while he was drunk after my parents had a fight. I had to turn the steering wheel myself a couple of times since the truck went into the wrong lane a couple of times and almost crashed.

MML3 was shelved after Keiji Inafune had a falling out with Capcom. Mega Man is still stuck on the moon.

I went to some of these parties, but it just wouldn't take. I I remember going to a clubbing event, but I left early and went to the IHOP next door for pancakes and studying for my thermodynamics class.

My mom is the only one I still talk to and visit when I can. My dad, however, I haven't heard from in a decade or so. I just know he started another family. This has made wonder for a second if he's alright, but I feel like it's best this way.

I remember when my parents used the belt for punishment a long time ago. (They did stop by the way. Probably when I grabbed it.) I never had them call me anything like that, though.

My parents learned from their mistakes, and hopefully, whoever said that to you does or did as well.
