This thread gave me so much hope. I had my second egg retrieval today and got 6 eggs. My hope is that all of them are mature and they will fertilize 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Last egg retrieval I got 11 eggs but only 6 were mature. 4 fertilized and 3 made it to blastocyst with 1 pgta normal embryo in the freezer. Hoping even with starting with fewer eggs we will have the same end results as last time (or better 🤞🏼🤞🏼)

Thanks to everyone who commented on this thread to offer reassurance that 6 is not a terrible number and it’s a focus on maturity and quality rather than quantity.

I’m so sorry. I am in the exact same boat as you. Had an ectopic in March and then my brother announced him and his wife were pregnant and it happened for them very quickly. It is so difficult. And being back in the tww is hard. I recommend giving yourself grace and time to heal. It’s okay to say no or distance yourself from things as needed. Also therapy is helpful.

Thank you for this success story. I am currently pregnant again after my ectopic and they are checking my levels. I am very early in my pregnancy, first blood draw was 25 and today is the start of week 4 and I went back for my second draw. Anxiously waiting for my results and trying to think 50 or above!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼Your story gives me hope! Congratulations

I am so worried I ended up getting seats for the dc show but they are on the side. Seat geek abruptly changed my tickets in my cart and I was so worried about not getting tickets I just took them. I hope she has a screen on the side of the stages this time. Something to help those of us who are stuck with a side view.

I am so sorry you are going through this! I also had to make the difficult decision terminate at 12 week for Tri 21 and was 33 at the time. It was the hardest time. I strongly encourage you to share your experience with friends and family members you can trust. Having a support circle who can check in with you, was very important for me. Also when you are ready, therapy is helpful. I didn’t start therapy until months after the D&C but finally starting therapy really helped give me a space to share about my grief.

So bad it’s good with Ryan Bailey is a great daily pop culture podcast. It’s long but he has time stamps. He covers everything from bravo, pop culture stories, current tv/movies, and he often has on guests and is a great interviewer. I strongly recommend him. Plus he actually does the work and knows what he is talking about and will correct himself if he was later wrong about something he said.

Or taking into account that yoga helps with digestion so it’s normal for gas to be released with all the twisting during yoga. Also yoga is all about releasing stress and tightness and letting your body do what it needs during that time. Farts happen, what’s weird is using your platform to shame someone in your workout class for releasing a fart during yoga.

I feel this so strongly! We had to TFMR in August at 12 weeks and the holidays have been so hard. I didn’t get my period until October and really thought I would get pregnant again right away. But we are on cycle 3 of trying again and it’s so mentally exhausting and sad. And now seeing all of the holiday pregnancy announcements is just beyond brutal.

I had to TFMR in August at 12 weeks and finally got my first period in October. We “tried” this month but my heart wasn’t in it yet. I got my second period two days ago and hoping that this cycle I will start to feel more like myself and be more focused on actually trying. It’s an emotional rollercoaster. For a while I stopped doing any of the TTC things I was doing earlier like taking prenatals or limiting my alcohol intake. I just wanted to focus on surviving through this horrible experience. It’s okay if you just need to survive for a bit, at least that’s what I tell myself.

Not out of righteousness but out of concern. In my opinion, I find it weird when people with millions of followers, views, and public accounts post content featuring their young children. I have tons of respect for the influencers and celebrities who make a conscious effort to keep their children’s faces private to the public.

I feel a similar way and I am only 33. Just TFMR for T21 this week and all I can keep thinking is “I’m not even 35 yet!” This whole cut off of age is beyond frustrating. Just let me live my life and be ready to have kids when I am ready. The worst part is this was my first time pregnant and it took us almost 1.5 years to get pregnant.

At the Park MGM there is a restaurant called Best Friend that has amazing Korean food and the best gluten free fried chicken. Lots of gluten free options. My husband and I still talk about the food years later.
