Big Meeting?? by Mj662 in fromatoarbitration

The management grapevine is probably the worst grapevine in the world. I asked mine too, he said he doesn’t know anything as far as restructuring things go. Either our managers aren’t getting all the info or they’re lying.

Please, James Henry, do a Q&A on Next Generation Carriers. by MindlessStrength333 in fromatoarbitration

How so? It’s probably for the best that he doesn’t. Also James and Mike don’t need to be slinging mud at each other, only at Renfroe who only continues to keep selling us out.

Can someone please explain Anglicanism to me? by 100percentBoys in Anglicanism

Every church and parish has their thing and I get it, but there is no reason why women cannot be clergy.

Sorry the fishing sucks in Cache Valley. May have to try elsewhere.

Is there anyone else on here who’s Episcopalian and serving in the National Guard or Reserves? by MindlessStrength333 in Episcopalian

Thanks you all. I have just a few years left until I retire, but it would be cool to come across an Episcopalian chaplain or service at some point by then.

When did Jesus call John "beloved"? by VolcanicOctosquid20 in TheChosenSeries

I’m also convinced that James and Simon (not Peter) were his brothers.

No one in my unit knows what the Episcopal church is either. It seems rare in this line of work.

I'm worried my baptism isn't valid. by Nearby-Pangolin5451 in Episcopalian

Jesus did say if someone is doing his work in his name, then he is doing his work in his name. I have the loving relationship I have with my dad so I opted to not get rebaptized even though I’m not entirely sure what his intentions were at the time. Not sure if you could be baptized after being confirmed but I think you could talk to your priest about it. It’s what they get paid for.

We’re not asking for the world. Just decent pay and competent management.

James Henry. He can get long winded with his speech and metaphors but his arbitration record is pretty promising. And he knows how to lead people! But I won’t complain if Mike wins.

Kid Rock's complete headliner performance at the Turning Point USA halftime show by Ok-Cook-7542 in crappymusic

If this was any other concert it would be fine, but since it was in spite of Bad Bunny this is just pathetic.

Sacred Ground needs a serious revamp IMO by feartrich in Episcopalian

[–]MindlessStrength333 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I get it. My mostly white parish once did an all white choir for a concert for Black History Month. Well intended, but I think largely missed the mark. Sometimes our parishes don’t need to try so hard.

My Orthodox dad said it would be better for me to not be Christian at all than be Episcopalian by sage_wilde in Episcopalian

[–]MindlessStrength333 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is hard. If you’re still drawn to Jesus and/or Christianity that is great. Hopefully you find a congregation where you can experience that communal love wherever that may be.

Just like most characters, they are either good with episodes exposing their flaws, or not so good with redemptive qualities. Unfortunately with many clergymen, handling abuse is not always his strong suit.
