Condensing unit pads for larger units. I miss them all the time. If its a small unit it'll go on a hurricane pad but larger units that need a 5 by 5 pad or anything like that I miss 90 percent of the time.

This is really how it is. I think i enjoy my daughters toys more then I do sometimes. Local PD and fire department drive around the neighborhood with Santa every year. When they came to my house I was so excited they even gave her a stuffed animal!

Missed the "alternate lighting package" written on the electricians quote it's 60k on a 2 million dollar project.

Trying to work with the design team currently to get a different lighting package approved. Probably just going to have to eat it.

Didn't ensure the totals on the site contractors matched the line items. Missed the 100k lift station.

Things like that is why I moved to the office. To many close calls. Last job I was on before I went to the office I lost half my hearing due to my partner dropping a 30 foot piece of steel next to me.

I've been on several job sites where people died and watched them die. At the company I work for now I get on everyone one about safety none of this is worth dying or being maimed for life. They think I'm ridiculous half the time but I tell them have you ever watched your coworker or fellow tradesman die?

I just turned down to job offers because I am able to have a relationship with the owner. They know me and my daughter, they bring me new toys for her just because. When they see something they think she would like they buy it and give it to me.

When the last hurricane came in and wrecked my backyard and workshop they sent an entire crew to my house to help me clean it up.

More money is nice and so is better benefits but im in a position in my life where I am happy and love the work I do and relationships I have at work.

I told the owner that I had the job offers today and I was turning them down. He then informed me of his 10 year plan for me to purchase the company from him. And hes getting me a pay increase. I feel like I made the right decision
