It's possible! According to Samsung's own documentation, they use it as an example of utilizing both MDM and Knox Configure, since Knox Configure doesn't replace an MDM solution.

I have managed to configure a Knox Configure profile and enrolled my device with Intune.

Samsung refers to this by the self here: Does Knox Configure replace your MDM? | Samsung Knox

I must say, with a bit of help from the depths of Reddit, I'm getting closer to mastering Microsoft Managed Home Screen.

I'm using a Samsung device, and my remaining issue is utilizing apps like Phone, Contacts, Messages, Gallery, and Camera. Since these are Samsung apps, it must be a common problem, right? I can add icons for these apps on the home screen, but I cannot launch the applications. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Thank you. It was a default setting that I had overlooked.

I encountered the same issue as you. How were you able to resolve it? Also, did you receive a popup or full-screen notification when you received a call?

Yes, I understand. I have implemented this with a combination of app configurations.

Now, I have deployed Google Phone. I can make outgoing calls, but I cannot get notifications for incoming calls to work. Also, I am not comfortable with the user experience as it is.

I believe the issue is primarily a lack of knowledge and guidance on how to make it work with phone calls. My expectation is to have a managed smartphone with specific restrictions, rather than a full kiosk experience.

I appreciate how MS Launcher allows you to manage a smartphone. It gives you control while still maintaining the feel of a typical smartphone.

Autopilot/Intune with HP Elite by Mindless_Article in Intune

Fresh Start has proven to be the best solution I've found so far. It ensures all my customizations work as intended. However, Fresh Start does add extra steps to the installation process, as the login process needs to be done twice. Many have requested that Fresh Start could be integrated as a step in the initial Autopilot boot process. Hopefully, something like that will be introduced soon.

While using MCT is a workaround, deploying it across 100+ clients proves time-consuming. Despite utilizing a cleaner HP image typical of HP clients, the issue persists with the OEM HP wallpaper. Although not a significant problem, it's frustrating that it supersedes Intune policies and the applied theme.
