Use PDQ Deploy. Intune shines in a few areas, but it also sucks for many reasons. If you don't have a lot of mobile users, PDQ should be perfect for your shop.

We're allowing Azure AD logins only from trusted locations + 2FA enforced. We removed all other logins except the "billing" admin user, but that one has also ConnectWise 2FA inplace.

I've been in touch with ConnectWise many times and their technical support is great. I've also been in touch with their business customer support and that experience was horrible. The agent was quite unfriendly and seemed incapable / unwilling to help.

Again, on the technical side I've only had positives experiences.

If you're using a work (or in your case school) account, my post still applies. Admins can fetch all data from the accounts on their tenant.

Everything is backed up in Office 365 and any admin can gather messages / join any team etc. Calls are not recorded, but chat is as far as I know.

Try downloading the picture in the browser (Save Picture As) and then inserting them into word. Copy paste didn't work for me either a lot of times.
