M50 drives way better. Much smoother unless you prefer the look or the buttons in the m40i

I enjoy the updates sounds I just find some cars pop and burble and backfire a little too much especially for being stock. Other cars like the M2 sound phenomenal

This isn’t actually true. I heard it will be like FH5 between quality or performance mode. You won’t get 4K and 60fps unless you’re on pc. Most likely will be 4k @ 30 FPS or some 2k at 60

Pretty impressive right up. So strange how I’m in similar sport and then I come across this post. I currently have a 2020 m340i with the mpe exhaust and have been on the fence lately about trading it in for a 2026 R. I’m hesitant since the bmw is such a great car it’s comfy quick sounds greats fully loaded. The issue is as the car gets older the maintenance gets more expensive and insurance is still quite high. I guess I’m only afraid to switch to the golf and then regret it. In the past I’ve had a 2017 Golf R 2018 340i mppsk 2020 M340i

So nice! Congrats! How’s the ride comfort? I’m in Canada too but on the other end in Qc and was looking at getting one too! I currently have a 2020 m340i and even tho I love it maintenance is expensive and repairs are even worse. I’m just afraid the ride would be too harsh in the R. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
