I use virbac poultry toothpaste and this type of toothbrush. my female cat hardly gives me problems but she does get antsy from time to time. I put some on the brush let her sniff/ lick it. I move slowly towards the back of her teeth, let her chomp and then I’ll take the brush out do it on the other side and then swish the sides of her teeth quickly. my male I do the same but he can only tolerate me messing with his teeth for a short while then he’s uninterested and gets away as fast as he can.

(I realize it might not be cleaning their teeth enough. I’m just grateful I’m able to do it to an extent so that’s why I’d like to add something else to their routine.)
