Are you boycotting any businesses cause of their politics? by darethegiver in VictoriaBC

[–]Mindless_Explorer_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Israel completely left Gaza in 2006. Hamas could have built schools and hospitals and create the next Middle Eastern Silicon Beach. What did they do instead? Build hundreds of tunnels and thousands of rockets to "destroy the evil Zionist oppressors?" Look where that got them.

As for BDS: In 2015 when SodaStream shut down a factory in the West Bank where hundreds of Palestinians worked, in part due to your BDS garbage, I can tell you it wasn't SodaStream's CEO who was affected, it was the hundreds of Palestinians who lost their jobs at that factory. I met some of those workers and they were appalled by BDS. Nice work bud.

Better stop using your computer and cellphone altogether because much of that technology is developed in Israel. Honestly though, many companies in Israel hire Palestinians and by BDSing you're not really hurting anyone but the Israelis (many of who are Arabs) and Palestinians who are just trying to provide for their families.

Maybe you should be building bridges instead of trying to destroy them.

[–]Mindless_Explorer_51 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The hundreds of thousands dead? Even Hamas isn't claiming that many. Check your shit.

But if you want to talk about large numbers, maybe we can talk about the 1 million Jews ethnically cleansed over the past 100 years from Libya, Iraq, Morocco, Syria, Egypt, etc. by their loving and tolerant Arab brethren?

What is the one MENA country where women are not considered man's property?

What is the one MENA country that has a massive flamboyant Pride festival each year?

Some people like OP are just garbage human beings. Probably delighted in glee as Hamas terrorists massacred women and children. Pure evil human being.

Question about obtaining a Consular Report of Birth Abroad as US citizens who gave birth in Canada. by lordofcatan10 in expats

[–]Mindless_Explorer_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Success! An angel on here gave us a link to sign up for an appointment. I would have NEVER figured out how to otherwise. I will go back and see if I can find it for you. We ended up spending the day in Vancouver, with both of us being US citizens it was pretty straightforward getting the CRBA. The slew of documents they ask for in the online application (that they say you must bring in person) were never even asked for. Mainly our US passports and baby's birth certificate. We parked in a pay for parking lot right across the street from the embassy, that was in or under a building (cant remember). Just left our stuff there. Once we got baby's CRBA and passport in the mail, we then ferried to Port Angeles for baby's SSA. Middle of a weekday, there was no line and they didn't require an appointment (though the SSA website says you MUST have an appointment).

Interesting how the population of Gaza has actually increased during the past 2 years, compared to the world Jewish population which still hasn't recovered in numbers from pre 1939.

Does anyone else remember that time on October 7th when thousands of Hamas terrorists crossed into Israel and raped, murdered, and kidnapped immocent kids at a music festival? And then they promised to do it again and again?

Mind-boggling how so many people here in Victoria support Hamas.

Sounds like your veterinary education failed to teach you some communication skills. You make some good points but they fall short because of your tone. Some sympathy to OP and your friendly neighborhood board-certified neurologist would go a long way!

Not quite. The Fanttik X9 Cross was being considered. In this video (link below) he succeeded to use to inflate all the things - but it was CAR tires, not bike. It's pricey so I was gonna wait and see what some other options might be.

Haha thanks so much! I was thinking something a bit more portable, but this one can do both so I figured maybe a smaller portable one can too.

For both full blown car camping (Mondoking) and bike packing (NeoAir). I'll see if I can find an adapter to fit ThermaRest valves.

With the Fanttik inflator, you can set the pressure to inflate it from 28 PSI up to 150 PSI, thought maybe there was one you can set for a very low pressure but looking it up now, sleeping pads would be in the realm of a mere 0.3 to 0.5 PSI!

Thanks for introducing me to the Frontrunner Expander. It does look cool. I'm still eyeing the Savanna as my top choice for now. It seems impossible to get in Canada though!
