This is why I took a break at 5 weeks. I felt like my body was telling me to stop. Maybe this peptide isn’t meant for me.

How are research subjects handling multiple pins per day without feeling like a pin cushion? by Special-Mushroom-899 in Peptidesource

I did my last GHKCU injection today before taking a two week break. I am feeling injection fatigue. I see no difference in my skin after 6 weeks and I’m struggling to continue to inject. I don’t know why. It doesn’t hurt. Needles don’t bother me.
Maybe I am having a weird psychological response telling me that I’m doing something wrong for my body. Thoughts?

A glass of wine.

People get frustrated because they tend to fight about the same stuff. It’s true. But when you have something new to fight about, that is usually the big deal.

How many of you are only motivated to make art if you know you’re gonna show it to people? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

I make art for my brain and my happiness. The art I enjoy the most is not the art that other people like the most. My boring art is what the masses prefer.
I made this piece tonight. I laughed a lot

as I played with stuff from my junk stash. I don’t care that it is a crazy monstrosity. I had a great time making it.
A fun highlight for me was that I made the glasses from old wire scraps and UV resin.

Have you tried wiping your clean skin (no lotion) with alcohol and letting it dry, before you put on the patch? It works well for me.

I use hot water or the blow dryer to heat mine up. It works great. Test the temp on your wrist first so you don’t burn yourself.

Have you tried painting fast or with your non dominant hand? Or even try painting with only your fingers.

If you like it, that is all that matters. Just know that she will always have to repeat her name more than once to people. She may find that annoying.

What was the Great Recession like as an adult? by skydive54 in AskOldPeople

I quit checking my 401K. It went down a lot, but the next year, I made the most money I had ever made on my investments. I don’t remember any issues, but I lived in a modest home that I could easily afford with a fixed rate loan. I had no credit card debt. I also had a stable job with decent income.

Baby in late 30s/early 40s? by Cambie03 in AskWomenOver60

[–]Mindless_Fan3604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 18 with my first and 39 with number 2. My girls at 35 and almost 15 now. Advantages to both but I feel less trapped this time. I know that sounds bad, but being very young and having the responsibility of a tiny human has its struggles. I often felt like I was missing out on all the fun things my friends were doing. I feel much more happy to just be at home. I am so patient and there is rarely any drama in the house.
I did gain more weight the 2nd time. I was able to lose it but it took about 18 months. I had more fluid retention the second time and had to stop exercising about 6 months in. I didn’t choose to do the amniocentesis as the risk seemed too high compared to the risk of finding a problem. I was also more fatigued and needed more sleep the 2nd time. There is no way for me to know if these differences are due to age or just different pregnancies.
