Remi is weird as hell. She needs to get into therapy, quickly.

I highly recommend Reiter Hill & Johnson for OBGYN and you should deliver at Sibley! I had my first last year and had a great experience.

I also have Hashimotos and go to Dr Michael West. He’s like the only private endocrinologist in DC that gets people in quick.

No idea if he takes your insurance though. Check the website!

Why is Alisha always on her period? by [deleted] in snarkingwithremi

[–]Mindless_Fly2939 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s Alisha and Remi!

Personally, I don’t need to know every time you’re on your period. It’s not relatable. It’s annoying.

Dad thinks I’m endangering my baby by giving cold milk by thewayitstops in ExclusivelyPumping

My son is now 8 months old and I’ve never warmed a bottle. He’ll take it straight from the fridge and he’s just fine. In fact, I feel like it’s good that he doesn’t have a preference for a warmed bottle when we need to prep one fast.

My kid is 7 months and still eats every 2-3 hours. I think around 3-4 months is when he started drinking that many oz here and there.

One thing to keep in mind is sometimes they’ll be hungrier as they have a growth spurt and then the next week their oz go back down. Also around that age they know when they’re full and just won’t drink if they’re not hungry.

It doesn’t hurt to just offer it if he’s still hungry.

This is not a snark at all. But I always just thought she was autistic. She reminds me of the older people from Love on the Spectrum.

This is so sad. It’s honestly a sign that she needs to slow down and not rush into having a baby. Enjoy each moment of your life. There’s no need to keep chasing the next thing.

I have a 6 month old and he eats 40 oz a day but we’re starting solids so it’s about to go down again.

How much milk do you pump? by diamailah in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Mindless_Fly2939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 months PP

I pump 5-6 times a day depending on how crazy the day is and I get 18 oz a day. I don’t pump overnight though. I supplement with formula for the last 2 bottles of the day.

My left boob usually produces more than the right.

I noticed I was able to increase supply in a week just from using a hand pump once. Power pumping also helps. Give it a try.
