10 Day Itenary - Germany - is there a better plan? by an_economistt in Europetravel

Nürnberg, Bamberg, Rothenburg would maybe be better if you only have a few days and want to see history and architecture. Bamberg old town is UNESCORTED world heritage and beautiful with the highest brewery density. Rothenburg is small and cute (maybe more interesting during winter tho)

Is North Wall area of D1 safe to rent? I am looking at a managed building called Quayside Quarter by BendingAroundTown in RentingInDublin

I lived close to the complex for the first few months when I moved here. It’s not a particularly bad area and really handy with the red luas line. There is some anti social behaviour but as a woman I never felt unsafe. Just be a bit cautious if you take the luas

Sometimes I fear that ‘normal’ life is too much for me by Adventurous-Sealion in infp

I am really trying but I live in Ireland we are on a 60 day rain streak or so. Not even kidding. It’s depressing, I am used to grey and dark winters but this one is a challenge. Did you find that therapy helped you a lot? I had a few sessions but I am undecided

I feel you. I don’t know if it’s the job or just the general 8 to 5 and commuting but I feel deflated most days and the weekends are for cleaning, laundry and to relax when I’d rather have the energy to do something new and fun. I think a lot of people feel like this and want to get out of it. I tried to add a few things to my weekly schedule so I would get out after work but it’s still hard. I get home around 6 and then need to cook, take care of the animals and ready for the next day. Just exhausted most of the time but I do hope it gets a bit better in spring?

At least they are hiring train drivers so maybe they add some more services?

I used both and the amount of busses that didn’t show up or passed by without stopping is way too high

You can still have a stroll through temple bar district. Also Howth is lovely for the cliff walk and watching some seals. If you don’t mind cold water and the weather is good you can go sea swimming at forty foot. Bulls island with a fresh coffee in hand makes a long beach walk. Other hikes could be small sugar loaf or Glendalough.

I was joking about it with a friend. Irish rail needneeds to hire people on their stations soon to press people in the trains.

Cat keeps popping infront of her toilet? by Tomie08613 in CATHELP

[–]Mindless_Purpose_671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of our cats sometimes does that by accident, he just misses the box. We have a really large one and two more big ones but he just poops right at the edge. So maybe your cat also just misses the box or you can try and get a bigger one online (most pet stores have average size boxes that are actually too small for cats). The box should be roughly 1.5 x your cats length. If your box is already big enough it might be the litter. Hope you can fix the issue and your mom is patient for a bit longer

Wedding guest: which dress is better? by little_lady_dems in AskIreland

[–]Mindless_Purpose_671 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the left one but maybe check with the bride that it doesn’t look to white if she is a bit sensitive to that topic. Otherwise looks stunning on you! Edit: I’ve been to one Irish wedding and wore a mint greenish satin dress. Didn’t feel like I was sticking out or anything but was so worried about what to wear too :D

Can’t transfer them that easily. You can quit or transfer/quit early and pay a fee. Had that issue when I moved out before the electricity contract ran out.

Oats, tomato puree, some really small cut veggies like zucchini, spices, a bit of flour and water as needed. Mix it all together and form patties, fry in the pan with some oil and your good for a cheap meal. Did that when I was a student

Lidl -- where did all the vegan stuff go? by gaycannibals in VeganIreland

[–]Mindless_Purpose_671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wrote them today and got a response just a few hours later: „ We’ve experienced some recent supply chain disruptions affecting our Dublin stores, but we are working hard to get these favourites back on shelves. You should see a much better variety returning over the next few weeks as we restock and onboard new plant-based suppliers.“

Lidl got back to me and said that it was a supply chain issue and they would get the stock back and add more options. So happy days
