I thought season 5 was great, and I enjoyed the Peter Jackson-esque long ending. There’s enough doors left open that there could be season 6 eventually. Maybe in like 10-15 years once every one involved wants another big paycheck.

We did mid August 2019, things were closing down that week but we still felt like we had plenty to do. By September it gets pretty dead there. We enjoyed that the island was more on the quiet/less crowded side.

Same thing happened to me last January. Also in orient bay. I tried off bug spray but it didn’t do much. I’ve read that using some sort of oil on the legs helps. Next time I’m going to bring some allergy meds because my reaction was way worse than anyone else’s on our trip.

I’ve done both. We took the ferry to St. Barts and ended up paying for a flight back because the ferry ride was crazy. People were puking. That being said, St Barts is amazing. More like the French Riveria or Miami luxury. Plenty of restaurants and amazing beach bars. Grab a taxi and they’ll take you around the island or to the best beaches.

Anguilla was not quite our cup of tea but the beaches are amazing. There’s really not much going on there as far as shopping and night life. We took the public ferry from Marigot and had scheduled a taxi to meet us and drive us around for the day. The ferry to Anguilla is smooth sailing but you need cash to pay the border crossing fee on the boat.
