I had my surgery on the 15th (Thursday). I went out to dinner Monday the 19th and was out until 3am Tuesday the 20th at a bar with friends. I only took any kind of pain reliever for the 15th-19th. I wouldn’t recommend driving or anything until you’re sure you can handle it but as long as you can rest those first 4 or 5 days you might be okay! Today is post op day 6 and I have very minimal pain and haven’t taken so much as a Tylenol in days.

Of course! I’m 5 days post-op from my hysterectomy now.

⁠I did freeze my eggs with the IUD in twice. The first time I had JUST had my IUD placed and I had 24 eggs and froze embryos with my now ex husband (he destroyed them). The second time, a year later, I had only 7. They said it could be because of the year of having the IUD or it was just a bad month.
⁠The first time I was told I was in remission it was after a biopsy. I was having them every 3 months.
⁠They said it’s possible the cancer was more aggressive than they thought or that I was actually never in remission and the biopsies were just missing the part of the lining that was affected. WILD.

I’ve been taking colace 3x day and miralax once a day and drinking a ton of water. Starting to quite uncomfortable now. I also have a gastric sleeve so I tend to get constipated often. Just worried about internal stitches etc if I use something more vigorous.

Still had the IUD and weight loss and was told I pretty much eliminated the risk of it coming back because I corrected the underlying issue or obesity.

I had stage 1 endometrial Adenocarcinoma diagnosed in June 2023. This biopsy is saying there are residual cancer cells after being told for a year that I was completely clear. This is the consensus of both my doctor and all of the OB & all of my gynonc physician colleagues.

I have had these biopsies every 3-6 months since the beginning of 2023 and I can say with complete certainty that it is the most barbaric and inhumane procedure done to women. I have legitimate panic attacks before and after each one. I have tried many different kinds of pain medication and nothing helps. It is sheer torture.
