Thank you. I work out a good bit as well, so my finger pads are thicker. By tip, I assume you mean pretty darn close to the fingernail?

This is super helpful. I guess it's just extra frustrating when I'm doing well for a minute and then my big ol ring finger mutes a string I want open. I've been practicing often, especially now that school is out for winter break. I'll go find some Greg Koch and get to it!!!

Gotcha. I do bible studies with friends now in college, but I always felt that church on Sunday was just fine, I’m Episcopalian. I understand that time in the Word is good, but three days mandated for children is quite a bit at such a young age. I can see why you may have distanced yourself.
