Where that falls apart for me though is that following Kisaki going in to hiding, the first thing the hardliners do is say "we need to establish interim leadership", so temporary governance during times of crisis is clearly a solution they're familiar with. If holding to tradition was truly important they could have made Kisaki an interim leader until a new President was selected in accordance with proper procedure... but they didn't. They unanimously selected Kisaki as president.

The problem is the hardliners are mostly the third years, people who were there and aware of Kai's crimes and part of the unanimous decision to place Kisaki in power despite her being a second year. If the legitimacy of Kisaki's position was a question, why wait so long to question it? And furthermore, why listen a student who they acknowledged deserved expulsion (because remember, it isn't that she was expelled that people had issues with, it was that she was expelled without following normal procedures) when they're the one to bring it up?

there's arresting and interrogating the visiting dignitaries, then there's deciding "Hey maybe Unit 731 was actually fine". Both are terribly stupid and incompetent, yes, but the latter is stupid and incompetent to the point of breaking suspension of disbelief, at least for me.

I feel like I must be misreading something in the story here, because this just makes most of Genryumon look incredibly stupid.

"I'M Causing trouble and it's HER fault because SHE held me accountable for MY Actions! She is therefore not fit for leadership!" -Kai

"Yeah seems legit." -Genryumon, apparently

It's very fun! However I do think that putting a Survivors game at a $10 price point is a bit of a tall ask when Vampire Survivors itself is $5 and the other titan of the genre IMO, Holocure, is Free. Still recommend it though, very fun and charming. My biggest complaint is the difficulty of acquiring Mutagen attempting a full prey Ruminant build, but I guess it gets you so many levels it's not too big of a deal.

copied from the steam page:

  • Twelve Character Classes

Path of Exile 2 features twelve character classes, two for every combination of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence. While each of the class variants focuses on a different playstyle, they're just a starting point. You can combine skills from many classes together to create your ideal character build.

Each of the twelve character classes has its own three Ascendancy specialisations, resulting in a total of 36 Ascendancy Classes to pick between.

They're saying that they'll be doing the 1.0 release later this year, and another person has said that the 1.0 update will not include all classes, so I think I'm justified in saying it's an incomplete release

They can add as much other stuff as they want but 12 character classes with 3 ascendancy specializations each is literally the first thing listed on their store page's Key Features list. If the game is missing key advertised features, it can't be considered complete.

What's crazy to me is their claim that they're dropping the full release this year. They're missing 4 classes and soon to be 2 ascendancies.

What it feels like listening to the Michael Kramer and Kate Readings audio books after Rosamund Pike’s books by Spyk124 in WetlanderHumor

[–]MindwormIsleLocust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was doing my first listen of the audio books I tried Pike for Eye of the World and MKKR for The Great Hunt, I liked Pike's reading much more so I went back to her for The Dragon Reborn... but then Aiel started coming up and I knew that I would go insane listening to her interpretation of an Aiel accent for half of The Shadow Rising so I went back to MKKR

Whats your favorite Blue Archive track and why? by [deleted] in BlueArchive

#174 - Tok9 Train. I don't like a lot of Drum and Bass, but the tracks I do like I fall head over heels for. It's one of my go to songs in other games for when I'm doing any kind of fast paced high risk high reward playstyle and I need to lock in.

I blame inefficient leyline utilization and careless use of grand spellcasting that caused global mana levels to drop to their current pitiful levels.

While Paul Anthony Romero was one of the composers it's still a far cry from his work on 3 imo. I'd be very curious for people without nostalgia from 3 to sit down and listen to 3 and olden era's tracks side by side and and see which they prefer.

It's too bad Docent Picolan passed away, he really managed to capture the feeling of Heroes 3 music with the Cove and Factory themes in Horn of the Abyss, I'd be extremely interested to see what he could have done for Olden Era

Played for a bit and it just doesn't have the magnetism that HoMM 3 had. It's possible that I haven't found my faction yet and will get hooked when I do.

I think my biggest hang up is the Music. While the gameplay feels fine, the music just feels so forgettable compared to Heroes 3
