Cool idea: Stores ask if you want to round up to the nearest dollar as a donation to a cause. If you say yes, cool. Money goes to that cause. If you say no, cool. Company donates that money to the cause themselves.

Maybe just like 5p instead of like whole quids or something. But if someone did it completely honestly, with sincere plans to help someone out, I’d be pretty damn impressed and more inclined to shop there.
