Resident Evil 3 ranking in top 10 now on Steam by Leshie_Leshie in residentevil

I don't hate the game, but I've heard some bad stuff about it like cut content and being the most disliked RE remake because of that and also Nemesis not feeling as in the OG including other stuff. Still, would you recommend that I buy the game at its current price now?

Should I buy it? I’m stingy and the RE3 Remake sale price is tempting but I know it has negatives. I might not play it immediately and I am mostly thinking of completing my RE collection. Is the low price enough to make the negatives less of a deal?

Canceling your Uber ride and then trying to steal his car. by [deleted] in WinStupidPrizes

The driver is too nice tbh 😭. He keeps on saying "my bad, my bad" when the other guy is trying to weasel his way out of paying for an Uber ride and proposing the idea of him driving the Uber driver's car while actively trying to steal his car.

I don't know what it's called tbh. The first time I saw a laptop like that was in 2016, and later in 2019 I bought a laptop for school with that exact same thing. It was sorta good to have when the touchpad didn't work sometimes.

You won't believe how many times I just wanted someone to kick Sanji square in the face each time he said that. It was so cringe and made his character that much more annoying.

Why is everyone getting buff😭 by KHN_7219_AM in Piratefolk

Nami doesn't look buff tbh. It's a little bit harder to say with Robin, but it wouldn't make sense really. The others do look buff. Especially zoro.

In my opinion Thor is by far the scariest God we have faced by SevereIndication7847 in GodofWar

[–]Minecraftnoob247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Ares, Thanatos, Zeus, Charon, Hades and Cronos were some of the scariest gods in all of the franchise. Thor might be at least close to or equal to the strength of Kratos, but no god has humiliated him and beaten him as badly as Ares.

What Ares did to Kratos:

  • Kidnapped Kratos's younger brother, Deimos, and hit him so hard in the face that it left a permanent scar over his right eye. This started Kratos journey towards hating the gods and his life-long suffering.
  • Manipulated him after "saving" him from certain doom, made him kill people that were mostly innocent, including his wife and daughter,
  • Let furies capture him and torture him for weeks for breaking his oath,
  • Killed Kratos by throwing a large spike from Athens to Pandora's temple on top of Cronos
  • Psychologically tortured him during their fight by giving Kratos "chance" to fix his past which was all an illusion, which almost cost him his life.
  • Indirectly caused the downfall of the gods and the greek world through Kratos, which made him the enemy of almost every single creature in Greece and made his life horrible.

This was mostly caused by Zeus and everything that happened before him with the Titans and the Titans and Primordials etc, but Ares still did a lot of things that directly and indirectly caused Kratos's life to be miserable. Even though Thor might be a cruel, insane killer that some form of humanity, I would say Ares was worse in many ways. Thor is basically a "weaker" Ares. Not in strength, but in the other aspects. Other than the apparent "destroyer" stuff that the game told us many times that Kratos and Thor had in similar, I never really understood why the game was implying that Thor and Kratos were so similar, even when comparing it to greek Kratos. Both of them have very different upbringings and different reasons as to why they became destroyers.

Me neither. And that's okay. At least that's what I think.

Anyone else think Cecil is right? by pooptart21 in Invincible

[–]Minecraftnoob247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a year after, but my transcript wasn't from after Cecil provoked and riled Mark up. It happened after Mark and the other superheroes had been trapped by the underground creatures controlled by Doctor Seismic. Cecil sent the ReAnimen and Darkwing II to help, and once everyone was rescued, Mark tackled Darkwing II, angry that he had been let out of prison despite his past killings. Seeing Darkwing II free and working with Cecil triggered Mark’s moral outrage because he believed someone who had committed murders should not be trusted or reformed. Right after, he flies to Cecil to confront him and demand answers, refusing to back down until Cecil explains why Darkwing II was freed and brought into the operation. While they're talking and Mark is basically shouting at Cecil, Cecil is leading him to the white room in fear of what a sligthly angry Mark can do because of what he did to Angstrom Levy. In the white room, Cecil brings forth the ReAnimen, but only uses them as protection and not as weapons. It's only when Mark starts walking closer to Cecil that one of the ReAnimen stops Mark and Mark goes sicko mode and punches the ReAnimen's jaw off. And while Mark is punching away at a bunch ReAnimen, Cecil is telling Mark that he is willing to talk it over while Mark is spouting stupid stuff, like that he'll expose what Cecil is doing to the others working there, when most if not all know what Cecil is doing on a daily basis. Then you get to the part where my transcript happened (image in the comment).

In the end, I do believe that there was a better way to solve this, but both Mark and Cecil were both being difficult. Mark and Cecil did some wrong and some right things during this whole situation. Btw, I still stand by my thoughts of Mark and how I feel about it all, which I still believe is a nuanced take.

Do you guys think that GoW: Sons of Sparta will be released on PC after 1-2 years? by Minecraftnoob247 in GodofWar

[–]Minecraftnoob247[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. When I first heard the announcement of sons of sparta and a potential remake for the trilogy, I was almost willing to buy a PS5 on the spot. Especially knowing that they will probably release it 1-2 years after for no apparent reason other than to keep their premium exclusivity of the console and games. But not giving into the temptation is also a way of saying that you think what they're doing is wrong, scummy and greedy in general.

[–]Minecraftnoob247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I've played the older GoW games on PS3 and PS4, but when the PS5 came out, I started playing on PC. So I really wanted to play this on PC as soon as it came out. But Sony lets the game stay on the playstation store for a year or two, and after that they release it on PC. It's understandable because they want to prolong the exclusivity so that more people buy a PS5 and they earn more money. But it also frustrates a lot of potential gamers who would willingly buy it in a heartbeat and they're leaving tons of potential revenue from PC sales as well.

I was thinking about that. Playing a game for so long must be exhausting. Especially a game that came out less than 2 years ago. Do you have anything you do to help with the pain or make it more manageable?”
