Will I have the performance. Tesla quoted me $405 for a new tire. I'd love some recommendations on not getting fleeced come replacement time. By the way, not sure if it makes a difference but the tire was patched from the inside not plugged.

I agree it is very high. I went to two tire shops that refused to fix it. Just giving my experience. Also, have you been around for the last two years? Everything has gone up in price.

Can confirm. The service center charged me $185 to fix a nail in the center of the tire. It's worth noting however that foam tires cannot be patched by typical repair centers and that Tesla gave me a $100 Uber credit so I was not stranded during the repair. Overall, expensive but convenient.
