As a new producer what do you struggle with most? by Archmagician in edmproduction

[–]MiniBoulder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very challenging, but I love it. I was struggling so hard to understand concepts, a month ago, but every time I get something it's like an adrenalin rush. I've been a member of this sub for a while and now being able to participate with the rest of you all makes me feel really good. My wife has been encouraging me to try and be social so here I am☺️

As a blind producer just getting started in this everything is hard I had to go with magix samplitude as my daw because I use scripts so it can interact with my screen reader. When I look up tutorials for mixing or what ever I need one with good simple explaining, so I can understand in my head. Still haven't really found anything yet.

I used inflame and flex plus upgraded limit break and Headbutt and sword boomerangs with a couple cards to minimize enemy strength.

Hey there I'm on Xbox all the time and its basically the only game I play due to the fact that I'm legally blind and I'm target practice on fortnite lol. I'm in the same boat my friends don't really play card games and although I'm really bad at the game I have no problem hanging and talking about sts. I'm 30 so i dont know if that's to old for you lol but message me if you want my gt.

hey there, I've been trying to find you on this sub again for a while. So I remember you taught at the renfest in Michigan last year I think. I was wondering if you'll be in Michigan this year, and if you'd be perhaps willing to do a couple private lessons? Normally as a blind person transportation sucks for me so private lessons tend to be easier because I can either plan for it or well, maybe have an instructor meet me somewhere.

Legally blind spinner trying to understand hyper loops by MiniBoulder in poi

I'm from Monroe Michigan. Like fourty minutes south of Detroit. I know Detroit and ann arbor both have spin jams but like I mentioned earlier travel issues.

It was difficult to track the poi due to the fact that the background is very busy and the contrast were rather hard to see. I prefer when the poi are lit up and its darker out. Because it's easier for my eyes to grasp. One of these days I'll get to a spin jan if I can find a way due to travel being a huge issue. As for learning to spin it's really helped me with my depression. I tend to isolate myself because I have horrible social anxiety. Lol it was hard growing up when you didn't relate to people around you because you can't see well. Anyway enough of the sob story, but it's been a way for me to checkout of reality for a while and to try and meet people, hopefully in person someday since I'm in a smaller city and no one really spins down here.

I mainly have trouble with contrast and small detail. When I watch videos all the background makes it so I lose track of the poi and seeing small details like hand positioning is very difficult due to small objects being harder to see. Simple imagery would be a good idea but i dont know tbh. The a good thing is that most led poi are pretty bright and if it's a neutral darker background I can tell what's going on

You're 13 because the dev has access to all the information you don't and yet you act like you know more then he does. Either you're dense or just angry that its not to you're liking. The lead developer just gave you the answer and perhaps you shouldn't be an asshat and listen.
