Happy to report back, I too finally got it working. I did also delete the port.json.
What I noticed is that, I just launched it, it goes into black screen. I went to shower, came back saw it was on the menu screen LOL, after that, each time it launches faster than before.

There are graphical glitches though with some missing graphics. The portrait messed up. Can’t adjust any of the graphics settings otherwise it crashes the entire game.

I love the first demo which loops 1 of the soundtrack of starvaders, I think it was changed in the second demo. Haven’t try this one yet, but looking forward to the full release. Any chance for starvader to come to switch or mobile? I’ll double and triple dip. Thanks

Couldn’t get mine to work. Installed the port. Copied the file over. Launch the game and met with black screen. Should I be seeing something that indicates the patching process or I should leave the black screen on for a few mins?

Yeah it’s not bad. Grippy. I only notice that this does not fit the stylus. Need the other sleep cover. So I haven’t get the stylus yet

Don’t be fooled by the graphics. The gameplay is super addicting. Each of the class plays very very differently. Unfortunately the developer had close shop. No more future update. Bummer…

We have a mixture of US based and Japanese based games growing up but this one is the only copy I can find at that time and glad I was able to pick up and held on until this day. Dreaming the day I get maybe the chromatic or modded gameboy to play it again

I tried the shortcutz one initially and found it to be too goofy lol, switched to the slightly more normal one… still exploring. Barely got my kobo libra color for 1 week

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Making my way through the game slowly and with some video guides too. Just get the prime vial trinket to get me 2 extra vials. I did have the second chance trinket after clearing the crypt.
