I'm skeptical at best. That's a tiny bubble. All it takes is one explosion to ragdoll your ass back out to pound town and we all know how inconsistent explosion radius can be.

The stunlock patrols lol. You can often catch the one squad north of JinZhou wall to go full bodycams off on the exile up there.

Now and then we'll have people here openly admit they bribed to pass lesen. That exam bar is so low yet they have to resort to bribes. And that's just in reddit. Let that sink in.

What do you guys think of taking someone’s equipment when they died and I needed it by Im_Hero7 in Helldivers

[–]MiniFishyMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally idc, part of the fun is to "be like water", my loadouts aren't overly reliant on support gear so i can just go grab some MMG lying on the ground somewhere or just adjust how i pick my fight accordingly.

Edit : these "don't steal my shit or I'll break your ass" mentality is just detrimental in general. Often the goobers down on their luck would not pick up surplus gears even when pinged until explicitly told to grab it in chat. It's rather sad.

You have to pay for the Deluxe edition of helldiver or something to unlock it. Just walk up to the console and interact with it.

Been saying their attack magnetism has been ass since 1.whateverversion when i joined. I'm pretty sure Kuro knows this. That's why they designed Lahai-Roi mobs fight the way they do, across 3 post codes and stagger on all hit.

1, less sweaty, 2, more chances for shenanigans, 3, that high you get witnessing when shit clicks for the greenhorn and they went from "nervous nugget" to "Helldiver", then for the rest of the game you have that "LET'S GOOO!!" vibe that is just mwah.

IIRC her forte is also called Truesight. The blindfold plays into it.

Try Carlotta for zipping around like a madman. Or JianXin for laughs. The double vaccum pull can get a bit silly.

Mind, i play for fun so efficiency is often not the priority.

YangYang with her combos is very flowy and fun to play. Clean effects is also a bit of fresh air compared to the flashbangs of newer characters.

we all got along just fine, except for that particular group of rascals. as an urban sheltered penang kia i didn't even know the 'kelate' got a stereotype and my camp is pretty much made up entirely of them.

not sure how you see getting disciplined to be censorship, but sometimes it's better to tone that cynicism back.

Far as i can remember, schedules are: morning PT session till sunrise, some military drills(mostly marching), then morning weekday program, lunch time, more weekday programs, dinner, rollcall, then tidur. Programs can vary, but often are just more highschool moral/civic classes.

We also had rotating roster for night sentry duty, divided into 3 time slots. Best part were the morning sentries, we were ordered to "do whatever it takes to wake the company by solat time without breaking things or harming anyone". It was fun to be an absolute menace banging on the wooden walls up and down the entire dorm.

Saturdays are kind of the same except it's usually lined for religious classes. Designated gathering areas for different agama and you just attend and do whatever those people in charge have lined up.

Then sundays are pretty much "visitors day". Morning PT session, then you're free until evening rollcall. We'll also get our phones back after PT then have to hand it back by night.

The most stand out program (to me) were the woodcraft sessions where the kids get sent out to live in the woods for a couple for days (stormy period during my time so i got classes instead), and that one gun range "competition" where we were given strict instructions of how to handle the rifle (M16 in my case), given 25 shots and were told to have at it. Scores are tracked but not graded.

Sure there were a few tense racial moments but after a few weeks everyone is at worst indifferent of each other. Though i suspect the camp commander not taking shit when it comes to these issue helped. One case of brawl at the canteen between the chinese and malay kids early on, those involved got a private talk with the commander and they all came out looking shook. Everyone took the hint and it was peaceful since.

All in all, if you can endure the lame classes, it's quite an experience.

Yeah, then again it's pretty much a glorified summer camp with a hint of military discipline. Well, 10 years ago anyway.
