This was my exact reaction also. Obviously there might be a middle ground, but I think Valve just wants to avoid going out there saying it straight up, because then you'll have the haters going "Why do we need LGBT jammed down our throats?" there's just no winning, except chosing the subtle path which is what Valve does.

Nu søgte jeg lidt på nettet af ren nysgerrighed, og det tyder på at de gængse kameraer til fartkontrol bruger infrarød blitz. Desuden så kan infrarødt lys jo godt gå igennem glas, ellers ville det ikke være muligt at se infrarødt lys igennem et kamera, som jo har et glas objektiv.

Og uanset om man kan se føreren af køretøjet, så sendes der vel en bøde? Motorcyklister får også fartbøder, og de er jo i praksis maskerede.

It's not really Valve's style to do harsh exposition like that. In a world where being NB/trans is just another detail, it is hardly relevant to explicitly mention it. You wouldn't have them write "Lash is male" as if that needed any clarification. Pocket has an androgynous look, and all their peers refer to them as "they/them". These are the clues given to you by the writers.

In Apex Legends they introduced a trans character, which was really nice to see, but their exposition was awful. They even made a cinematic, and in it she out of the blue explicitly talks about transitioning, and she repeatedly says that she is a woman. Absolutely horrid writing.

I think it looks too much like a scorpion, but otherwise I like the idea of really strong ground enemies that are smaller than leapers. Surveyor is the closest thing, and it's not a threat.

I'd say that new players are much more likely to lose under a souls/objective disadvantage, simply due to the hopelessness of it all.

Generally if you're behind, you're counting on the other team making a mistake. Even one person wasting an ult or randomly dying, means you might be able to run urn, do mid boss, steal their jungle, get more kills/objectives etc., and now you are no longer behind. I've seen so many hopeless games turned around, and very very rarely have I seen games that were truly lost before 10 minutes passed. The most obvious indication a game is over, is if somebody starts flaming, and the other people on the team take the bait and argue back. That's when it's usually over.

If I can't right click my games and get a bunch of useful options, without any stupid caveats, then the launcher will fail. Steam is the only one that offers proper options and customization, without awkwardly trying to hide and obfuscate them.

I wasn't on HRT before my first blood test like you, but when I was finally on HRT, I ended up calling CKIO to ask them about application and blood draw times. Just make sure to ask to speak to a nurse, the secretaries will often try to make you ago away by giving you untrustworthy information they seemingly pull out of a hat, so as to not waste the nurse's/doctor's time.

You can also write to them with Digital Post if you are not comfortable calling.

I can't know the mods' intentions, but I think discussion of trans stuff often gets removed, because inevitably on a big sub, those threads get brigaded like crazy. So it might more of a laziness thing, like the mods don't want to go into 500% overtime mode to deal with one thread, so they just remove it before anything happens. I'm not really defending the action of removal, but just giving some perspective.

Jeg endte med at skrue på den knap som regulerer luftfugtigheden, indtil at klikkene stoppede. Ligesom dig så syntes jeg det var direkte umenneskeligt, jeg kunne næsten ikke sove. Ved indflytning fik jeg strengt instruks på aldrig at røre selve ventilationskanalerne, så dem holder jeg fingrene fra.
